WHAT IS ADOPTION

ADOPTION: These is the process of legally taking ownership of another person's child as your own child.

These can only be done when a woman is unable to give birth to her own child or when a man is unable to impregnate his wife, that's when they will come together to plan on how they will adopt a child.

Some have different reasons for adopting a child, some of them adopt a child from a motherless haby home just to help them have a family, while some people adopt a child because of their inability to have a child of their own.

MAIN ISSUES AN ADOPTED CHILD FACE

An adopted child faces a lot of issues in his/her new family, especially those of them that was being adopted within the age of seven(7) years upward, he won't feel comfortable in his new home, cause he knows eeep down that those people are not his/her biological parents.

• An adoped child will receive lot of insults from his/her friends in school that knows he/she was adopted.

• And also if the parents kf yhe adopted child finally have a child of their own, they won't show the adoped child much love again.

• Attachment issues

LEGAL IMPLICATIONS

When once you adopt a child legally, that child automatically becomes your own and your responsibility cause all the right have been franferrd from the former parent to the new parents.

And also the adoped child has the full right to inherit from the adopting parents if they past away in future.

HOW ADOPTION IS VIEWED IN MY CITY

According to what I've heard, adoption wasn't welcome in my cuty back then, but now it is, and any couple who are childless can adopt a child from anywhere as far as it is legal.

HOW I VIEWED ADOPTION PERSONALLY

I know adoption is a legal thing now in the whole world, but seriously i don't like adoltion, instead of me adopting a child, i prefer to marry another wife that will give me my own child

WAYS TO HANDLE THE CHALLENGES

• By loving them as if they were your real child

• As time goes, when he/she is above 15 years, you make sure you tell them the truth that they were adoped

• By communicating and discussing with them and also give them space to ask questions

• When adopting a child, make sure it is done in a legal way.

WILL I RECOMMEND IT

Adoption is not what someone can recommend to another person, is something that he or she must decides on their own.

CONCLUSION

Adoption is not something that you can do anytime you like, it is like marriage cause it os a life time something, no going back.
