Introduction
Greetings to you all, my highly esteemed steemians, it's another beautiful bright sunny day, and I hope today will bring all the goodies for us. Previously we talked, and understood the meaning of stress, also the 3 major types.
As a serious health threat that affects all humans, great and small, young and old, male, or female.
Stress can actually be a good stress or bad stress depending on how you manage it.
In this part 2, we are going to see ways to manage Stress. Learning how to manage stress is important to both your physical and mental well-being. Let us examine some of the basic techniques that can be used to manage Stress.
Ways to manage Stress/Four key Factors that can help us.
[1] INSECURITY
Infact none of us can boast of total security. As a matter of fact TIME AND UNFORSEEN EVENTS BEFALL US ALL Stress can cause anxiety, and anxiety is part of everyday life. So we must try as much as we can not to add tomorrow's anxiety to or today's anxiety, that will increase our Stress and that is not healthy. If you cannot eliminate stressful things in your life, then try as much as you can to reduce Stress impact.
Talking it out with a trusted family member or a trusted friend can help reduce Stress. After all a true friend shows love all the time. Taking our worries, and concerns to our heavenly Father in prayer also helps us to manage and find relief from Stress.
[2] DEMANDING ROUTINE
Reducing our tight work schedule helps us manage Stress and find relief. When we have constant work deadline to meet-up, that can cause Stress, so we need to do all we can not to put ourselves under pressure. We need to get adequate and enough rest. Simplifying our life, reducing unnecessary expenses, and reducing the time spent at work. Spend more time with your family.
[3] INTERPERSONAL CONFLICT
Conflicts with others can be stressful especially in the workplace. Learn to stay calm in the case of provocation. Treat the next person the way you would like to be treated. Try to be forgiving because forgiveness is not only beautiful but also a good medicine to the heart. A forgiving attitude reduces Stress.
[4] TRAUMATIC EVENT
Extreme traumatic event can be so stressful, leading one desiring death to life. In the case of all these traumatic events that can cause Stress, among the best ways to manage Stress is associate with others and never try to be on your own.
Conclusion
A genuine hope and wisdom to cope with life's many stresses are priceless. Certain lifestyle changes is the best start to managing Stress and finding relief.
Eating a well balanced healthy diet, getting enough rest/sleep, and exercise is also key to managing Stress and finding relief. Learn to make pleasurable things with your hands.
