Good morning beautiful people. Its indeed a privilege to share with you all my Today's activities. Guess what? Its not just a normal day activity, it's actually my defence day. It was indeed a joyous day.

I actually woke up in the early hours of today with a thought on how i'm going to defend my project today (150 watss Solar powerbank).

Well, it started by getting my white and black outfit ready. Because they made it compulsary that we should be on black and white cooperate outfit. I took my bath and wore my black and white outfit, then i went off to school.

When i got to my school Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State, Nigeria🇳🇬.. We waited for some hours before they finally called us in.

Our Project was to Build a 150 watts solar Power bank. And i will use this time to brief us on how the project was done.

COMPONENTS:
Solar panel => 50W - 150W

Charger control => 12Volts
Battery. => 12V / 18AH
Inverter => 150 watts

PROCEDURE/METHOD:

  • First the negative side of the 150watts inverter was connected to the negative terminal of the 12volts /18AH battery 🔋.
  • Then the positive side of the 150watts inverter is connected to one end of the switch, then the other end of the switch is connected to the positive terminal of 12volts/18AH battery 🔋.
  • After this is done, the positive side of the cable passing through the 12volts charger control Is connected to the positive terminal of the 12volts/18AH battery 🔋 while the negative terminal of the cable passing through the 12volts charger control Is connected to the negative terminal of the 12volts/18AH battery 🔋.

NOTE: The charger control has a solar port, battery port, 12Volts DC port and a USB output.
While the inverter also has a USB output.

Before charging the battery, the battery cable has to be plugged into the battery port first then solar cable is plugged into the solar port. Then the battery begins to charge.

USE OF THE SOLAR POWER BANK:

It can be used to power a cell phone and laptops
And it can be used to power devices below 150watts which is approximately 200 volts

At the end of everything the defence was a success. God actually made it possible, because from the onset it was as if we're gonna spend months in building this 150 watts solar power bank, but it only took us just afew days, it was not even up to a week.

Don't look how big it might look, just start from somewhere and you'll be surprised the way you gonna finish everything.

Don't look how long the stair case might be, just take a step. And you gonna get to the top.

Once again, i'm a Certified Computer Engineering Graduate.
