DAY 5 – REVIEW ON PJ FOODS
PJ Foods is located at the center of the heart of Isashi Town, off Badagry Express Way, Lagos. This eatery was very very popular when they started newly about 5 years ago, but recently new other Fast foods just sprang up left right and center around them and customers stopped trouping in there as it used to be originally when they started. All the same, there are still in operation because of their location and uniqueness of the place.
NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS ON HAND
When I first entered the hall, I met only 1 lady on the first floor eating and at the underground floor there were some teenagers there – 4 of them, boys and girls eating and enjoying themselves as they term it to be.
TYPE OF FOOD AVAILABLE
Their serving trays were filled up with different dishes like Jollof Rice, Coconut Rice, Fried Rice, Moi-moi, Fish, Chicken and Beef. Also available were snacks like Fish roll, Meat pie, Egg roll etc.
MODE OF PAYMENT
This restaurant accepts cash payment as you are being served from the counter you can pay immediately or go and eat and come back to make your payment. There is also available POS method so if you do not have cash you can do transfer of funds. They are flexible because sometimes cash might not be on hand especially now that most people go cashless.
BEST DISH
From my observation I will see their best dish to me is the Moi-moi because of their method of preparing it. It was wrapped and cooked with vegetable leaves, unlike some places where they use plastic plates to cook their Moi-moi. Theirs was just natural and cooked with shrimps and fish.
DO THEY SELL SHAWARMA, ICE CREAM AND ANY OTHER THINGS LIKE CAKE?
Yes they sell Shawarma and Ice cream but I did not see cakes there. Another interesting snacks food is Pop-corn. Theirs is always prepared with milk and its very yummy and crunchy sweet, you will love it especially its white creamy colour.

OTHER DETAILS
Taking a look at the above picture you will see that their restaurant is in a very big compound. Infact it is situated inside a Filling Station and these allows for a good parking space for customers. Also because of the kind of space available therein, PJ foods usually make use of that space as relaxation center for the kids during festive seasons mostly on Christmas period and New year celebrations. They usually mount Bouncing Castle there for children to come in and play and children love it so much as they bounce on top. They also mount Jangolovas for children to swing on and feel happy. But it is not free. Parents usually bring their kids and during those times it serves as a boost for the PJ foods market. That strategy is very good to make money too.
These is how much I can say now and am concluding by saying thank you for reading to the end. Did you enjoy my reviews?
