Philippians 4:6. From the scripture we realise that thanksgiving is covenant requirement for answered prayers. Some of us who have sought for jobs in the past will normally hear that this or that is required for the application and admission. What it simply means is that if you don’t have such requirements, don’t bother. Application for admission without subject required being passed is a waste of energy and money. In the same way, praying without thanksgiving is an effort in futility.

According to the scripture, your prayer and supplication must go with thanksgiving. “With” is different from “and” so all the way you are praying and supplicating, thanksgiving must go with it. The quicker your thanksgiving, the faster your answer. Delay in thanksgiving is delay in securing the answer.
Without thanksgiving, it is like going for an interview without your credentials. Thanksgiving guarantees answers to our prayers. If you are into buying and selling, you will know the meaning of guarantee. You take your money to acquire, you receive guarantee to assure.. In prayer and supplication, we acquire what we want; we pay for the answers but in thanksgiving we have the guarantee. Guarantee means nothing can be wrong with this prayer you are praying. Guarantee means if anything gets spoilt along the way, we will replace it for you. That is why even when we pray in error for want of words, the moment we say “Thank you Jesus”, the Father says, “Don’t worry about the error. I have taken care of it”That is why those who thank God don’t make errors in prayer. You can pray amiss but you never thank God amiss. Thanksgiving covers our errors in prayer. Thanksgiving makes up for us whatever we couldn’t ask. Thanksgiving is our spiritual or covenant makeup in prayer.
1st Thessalonians 5:18
Thanksgiving guarantees that you are in the will of God. Thanksgiving is our spiritual or covenant backup. It is a way of God saying, “Hey! Don’t worry. I am behind it”. That is why, God stores your requests but when you thank Him, He releases your answers.
Hebrews 10:36
Thanksgiving is key to our prayers that must be answered. Thanksgiving is a must. Every prayer that must be answered must be accompanied with thanksgiving

1st John 5:14 - 15
Prayer without thanksgiving has no assurance and insurance. Before Daniel learnt to give thanks to God, his prayers were not insured and that is why the devil could stand on the way to stop him.. At Shiloh 2021, no devil will stand on your way to answers.
Thanksgiving makes you to know; can’t you see that whenever you thank God something settles inside you? In prayer you may get anxious but in thanksgiving, you are relaxed. In thanksgiving your mind is settled. In thanksgiving, your mind tells you the answer is here.

Acts 16:25 - 26
Whatever is coming gradually can be hastened to come suddenly with thanksgiving. God doesn’t keep thanks givers on the line for too long. They don’t delay. Prayer will keep you on the queue; thanksgiving will make you jump the queue and put you in the front because God is looking for thanksgiving more than prayers.Thanksgiving brings you into the realm of delight and peace. That is why the Bible tells us in Philippians 4:7- And the peace of God (the assurance and insurance of God) will keep your hearts and minds.

When you pray, you may shake the room but when you thank God, you shake the earth.
In Acts 4, the room shook when they prayed but in the prison they praised God and the earth quaked. Church Gist. When you thank God all the foundation of the enemy holding you in captivity will be shaken for you to come out.

2nd Chronicles 20:22
You have shot enough arrows in prayer. It is now time for you to watch and see what the Lord will do for you.
Now if you are truly thankful, you will become praiseful. It follows. There is no genuine thanks giver that is not a praise giver. And from praise we end with dance. Thanksgiving is incomplete without praise and praise is incomplete without dance. And when you do that, the answer will come suddenly.
