I realized that what plays a pivotal role in human beings development are little things we often considered infinitesimal.
God has blessed mankind with so many things that could alleviate his health status. Ignorance and perception tends to erode our thoughts.

I will like to share summarily what I have observed and learnt about a common plant called BITTER LEAF.

BRIEF ABOUT BITTER LEAF

Bitter leaf has a botanical name called Vernonia amygdalina.
Commonly found around the African regions which includes Cameron, Nigeria etc.
It is bitter because it contains a component called glucosinolates.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF BITTER LEAF

Bitter Leaf has a lot of health benefits. It cures fever and many intestinal complaints.
Bitter leaf help to cleanse liver, kidney and other vital organ of the body.
It is also used in treatment of skin infections like Eczema, Ringworm, Rashes etc
It may help protect against prostate cancer.
Bitter leaf helps relieve insomnia.
The plant may enhance fertility.
It has properties that may aid diabetes.
It regulates blood cholesterol level.
It expels worms.
It improves milk production.
Responsible for healthy bones and teeth.

It also contains the following;
Fiber
Carbohydrates
Ascorbic acid
Carotenoid
Calcium
Iron
Phosphorus
Potassium
Sulphur
Sodium
Manganese
Copper
Zinc
Magnesium

CONCLUSION

Bitter leaf is a superb vegetable with a line of health benefits. It also contributes to a particular healthy lifestyle and human outlook.

Bitter leaf is so effective on the skin because it helps wipe off wrinkles thanks to aging effects and radicals causing skin problems.

Upon all the advantages , a warning also follows that you shouldn't give bitter leaf to infants and individuals with kidney problems except on recommendation by health practitioners.

I avoid this leaf most of the time, but i can still give it a go.

I never knew bitter leaf can do all these. Thanks to your publication, now I do. I personally don’t like chewing raw butter leaf but I see people doing it. I only use it for soups. Maybe I will explore more options of consuming bitter leaf . Thanks once more!!!
