A little and amazing creature: Hummingbird by @favourbest22

We are surrounded with amazing creatures by our heavenly father the creator of all good things, today I will share with you one of this amazing creatures named Hummingbird, 4 things that makes this bird unique.

Hummingbird belongs to the family of Trochilidae over 330 species, they measure between 3-5 range and they weigh little gram that is to they are very small.Even though they are small they have the ability to beat their wings 55 times in a second, the name Hummingbird comes from the sound of their wings as they are moving, hummingbird is the only bird that can fly front and back, they are not really strong to walk because their legs are small.

How long do hummingbirds live

You know it is a wildlife so they experience what other wildlife experience, they in danger to rain, hailstone, dogs, snake etc, but anyone who survives all this may live between 3 to 5 years, where they suffer so much is during migration, during migration most of them lost their life especially those that are under 1 year.

They have different ways of communication, they calls, chips, chatters and squeals to communicate with each other. Since is different species, their communication styles varie, each of them communicate with the language they understand to alert other hummers or to challenge "invaders" that came to their feeding territories, just like we human have our own languages and style of communication, hummingbird have their own too so that they will understand each other.

When it comes to rest, they can rest for a very long time to the point that their breathing will go down so low it is called torpor that is a state of inactive, this is because when they fly for so long they have to rest to regain strength to fly again, I mentioned earlier that they beat their wings 55 times in a second you can imagine that, it is not an easy task for them.

5 things that make hummingbird unique

• The only bird that can move backward, upside down and forward.

• After matting only the female take care of the best and the egg.

• It can sleep to the point of inactive

• It got it's name from the sound of it's wings

If as small as this hummingbird works every day to eat, communicate with each other in goo way, knows when there is danger are cares for it's egg, it shows that Jehovah's wisdom is incomparable and at the same time thought me to trust in Jehovah and live a meaningful life.
