Introduction

Time to write about my efforts in promoting Steemit once again. We do the Steem Road Show twice in a week. The effort we make in this promotional activity is really yielding fruit as many new friends join us and start blogging. Our last outing was really successful, although I choose a different route this time around. Here is how I went.

I did my own Roadshow inside Abia State Polytechnic

I could not meet up with the rest of our team when they left for the road show that morning. But originally, I planned to go inside Abia State Polytechnic to do my Road show and it was really a successful one. I went to the computer science department and was able to meet 1st year computer science students. The school have not started lectures seriously and so may students were not around. But I wsa still able to meet and talk to some student groups and the response was very good.

The result of my Personal Efforts

I spoke to 3 different student groups of at least 3 persons. As expected, many were really interested and a few did not show much interest. I stayed with them for a better part of 3 hours, explaining blockchain, cryptocurrencies and content creation. After the presentations, I was able to sign up at least 4 of the students. The rest of them complained about not having their phones. So I promised to sign them up later. I took some pictures with them and a few inside their department. I signed up a total of 4 persons. Refreshment after the effort

I went to a nearby restaurant to rest and find something to eat. That was around 2.50pm. It was really a full day doing the promotion. SO it was time to chill and I did.

Conclusion

It was really a successful outing, the day 12 of the roadshow. I will go back to the school soon to follow up the interest shown, an to try and get new students to join too.
