Introduction

Goodmorning friends and welcome to my blog once again. I hope you are doing just fine. I am delighted to write once more another diary post to tell you how my day was spent. That was monday, the 1st day of August, 2022. It started like any other day, very early as usual. Here is the story of how it went.

Morning Activities

I checked the time when I woke up. It was 4.20am. I have a routine of early morning prayer, so that was the first thing I did. I had to thank the creator of heaven and earth for the gift of life. After that, I had to check on the community account for notifications which I answered a few of them. I also checked @focusnow which also had a few notifications. I replied and then went on to read a few posts. At around 5.25am, the whole family met for morning worship.

The morning worship focused on the privilege we have to work with Jesus as we preach the goodnews of the kingdom. Jesus promised to be with us and support us. The text was taken from John 15:5. We discussed how to do more for so that we will receive more blessing from God and Jesus. The morning worship ended with a prayer and we dismissed.

I came back online to check on our group chats. I uusually do that to keep the house alive and warm. Then I started the top 4 post for the day. It usually takes time to check all the users and select thiose that have not been selected before. It took around 30 minutes to finish that and drop the link of the post in our groups. Then I started getting ready to leave home. I had planned to get a new phone for my mum. I took tea, got dressed and left the house around 9am.

I arrived at the office and worked from 9.40am till afternoon. Then I left to go and get the phone.

Afternoon Activities - Getting the phone

First of all, I went straight to the ATM machine to withdraw the money I will use to pay for the new phone. Network challenge is often experienced around St. Michaels, so I always avoid paying through transfer. I went to Wema bank ATM machine and did the cash withdrawal. Then I went on to St. Michaels where I bought the phone.

I got to St. Michaels and went straight to the shop where I normally buy phones. I went for Techno Spark 8 C. I was shocked when I discovered the new price. They told me the phone is NGN71,500. I was shocked. I just bought same phone last 2 months at NGN62,000. I thought they were kidding me. So I went round to compare price, and I discovered this shop gave the cheapest price.

I came back and paid for the phone. Things are really costly due to the constant falling of the Naira value. I had no option than to pay. The phone was tested and everything is ok. The configuration of the phone is 64GIG internal memory and 4 GIG RAM. The camera is excellent. I went to the opposite shop to buy glass guard. After that, I returned to the office to charge the phone.

I worked at the office until 4.50pm when i closed and left for home.

Evening Activities

I usually stop at the market to pick some fruits for the night and morning. I bough cucumbers and carrots. Then I also did some cash withdrawal at the POS shop. Then I proceeded home.

Once at home, I quickly took my bath and had some rest. By 6.40pm, I went and had my dinner. The soup was really nice. Bitterleaf soup prepared with stock fish. After eating, I rested a little more. Then I went on to chat with friends and retired for the day around 10.30pm. It was a day filled with various activities, especially buying the phone. But I was happy to get everything done
