Introduction

I am delighted to announce this project that I have thought about for some time now. I wish to call it Creative Digest. SteemALive community records 80 - 100 articles published by our members weekly. We read and enjoy these posts. But we want to help these authors gain extra visibility and also boost engagement on their posts. So Creative Digest is a post where you select and feature 7 articles from 7 authors that you really enjoyed reading. This way, we help other authors to discover and support the 7 featured articles.

Creative Digest - Why so important

I wish to achieve two things with this Creative Digest project. They are as follows:

1. Increase the visibility of articles in the community: Creative Digest will help our writers to get more visibility for their articles. We are already doing well in the area of engagement and post promotion. Many posts in the community record high engagement count. However, we want to take it to a whole new level through this project.

Creative digest will help our articles to be seen more at the end of the week. When many authors feature 7 articles they enjoyed or considered special, others that see their review will like to visit the featured articles. In this way, the article enjoys extra audience.

2. Boost Engagement: When the article has more visitors that is great. But then, the visitors would like to engage with the articles and drop meaningful contribution in form of engagement. We hope to see more conversation under the posts of our members, thereby greatly boosting its engagement.

Engagement is a way to reward the efforts of authors in the community. When many people comment on a post, the author feels welcome and apprecciated. This is something we have achieved. But Creative Digest will take it to another level hopefully.

How to Participate in the Project

Each weekend (Saturday or Sunday), make a post with the title - "Creative Digest - top 7 articles I enjoyed in SteemALive community this Week." In the post, do the following:

• In your introduction, list the usernames of the 7 authors you enjoyed their post most.
• Next, upload the thumbnail (first image in the post) and put the link of the post under it
• For each author, use at least 70 words or more to summarize the content of their post. You can talk about the information in the post, the lesson learned, the ideas raised in the post, or any other thing that made you consider the post special. Do this for the 7 authors each.
• Make sure you meaningfully engaged on those 7 posts you featured

You are still free to mention other things that made the posts special apart from the content. That may include the formatting, style of presentation, grammar or other things.

Note: Your first two tags for the post should be crea8 and creativewriting

I will make effort to engage with all Creative Digest Posts each week. I might even make an index post of all Creative Digest articles for the week.
