Introduction
Its time again to show you friends how i have fed this week. You know we have to eat to survive. But food should be more than just sustenance. We should be able to enjoy what we eat. We also need to eat healthy, nutritious food. So without wasting much time, let me show you some of the meals I enjoyed this week.
1. Lunch at the office
Whats There?: Roasted plantain, beans and vegetable (Utazi).
Why I love It: This meal is 85% roasted plantain and 15% or less beans. I ate this meal for lunch at the office. Plantain is actually a major part of my diet each day. It helps me balance my cabohydrate intake in the day. I normally eat a carbohydrate meal in the morning for energy. Then in the afternoon, I try to eat plantain or any other food not carbohydrate. Thats why I went for roasted plantain and beans.
Prepared by: We have a food vendor close to our training center. She focuses on roasted stuff - plantain, yam and other things. That is where I usually source my roasted plantain. This plate of food costs NGN500.
2. Dinner at home
Whats There?: Indomie noodles and small vegetable
Why I love It: Well my sister enjoys eating her noodles without lots of vegetables. So on this particular evening, I had no choice but to follow her simplicity here. Otherwise, I love adding things like carrots, green pepper, cabbage and other things. But then, I had to please little sister and eat the indomie the way she prefers.
Prepared by: This time around, our last born @ngobaby made the meal for us.
3. Lunch at the office
Whats There?: moimoi and egg, with roasted chicken.
Why I love It: You know I enjoy eating chicken. I love it because its a healthy meat for all. On a day like this when I do not want to eat plantain, I went for this moimoi. Its fresh and hot. I had to let it cool off. The roasted chicken? nothing tastes like it. So nice to taste and eat. The moimoi was not bad at all. I enjoyed everything.
Prepared by: I bought this meal at Chicken Republic just close to our office. The roasted chicken is NGN1500. The moimoi is NGN400.
4. Dinner at home
Whats There?: Plantain and cucumber.
Why I love It: Plantain is a nice source of iron. If I wish to eat something not containing carbohydrate, I usually go for plantain. Ofcourse you know its usually unripe. That evening, they prepared this plantain. I had to enjoy this meal with sliced cucumber. I really felt refreshed after the meal.

5. Dinner at Home
Whats There?: Vegetable soup with chicken, and Garri
Why I love It: Vegetable soup with chicken can never go wrong. Hahahah. I really enjoyed this one. One thing I appreciate was that the soup was made that evening, so its as fresh as anything. The chicken flavor really come out well. I had to eat with garri - nice one at that. I ate the evening meal early so that the food will have enough time to digest before I go to bed. This meal was not bad for dinner

Conclusion

Among all the meals you enjoyed within the week as shown in this post, is that indomie @ngobaby prepared that I loves most. We lastborn's love simplicity and that's how it suppose be.
