Introduction

It was really a privilege my fellow steemians, to be a part of this progressive and organized community.

I joined steemit on the 7/9/2021, The link to my Introduction Post and I was invited for the next road show by @marajah.

How it all started

So this morning, thanks to God, I woke up being optimistic. I said my prayers, read my daily bible text, which was taken from the bible book of Philippians 3verse 14. Which says in part and I quote: .."I am pressing on towards the goal".It was a reminder for us to keep enduring while running the race of everlasting life. That irrespective of the hostility that we face, we must not give up in serving God.With these encouraging words, as a steemians as well I won't give up irrespective of the barriers.

After doing some domestic works, I prepared, but the rain started showering. Then I said to myself: " rain you won't be a barrier oh". I must go.I jumped into it, got to the bus stop and boarded a bus going to highlife and alighted at Azikiwe.Before then I've called @marajah to give me directions and she told me to come down to Abia Polytechnic.

I stopped at park bus stop and walked down a bit to where I could board a bus going to osisioma and I alighted at at Abia Polytechnic.It was at Abia State Polytechnic that we mounted our road show banner. I crossed and joined my fellow steemian .

THE WARM RECEPTION
I was given a warm welcome by some of the steemians: @marajah, @focusnow
@ninapenda
@meymeyshop
@goodseed and some others am yet to know their users names.

The Show Proper

I moved down to business, by collecting some flyers from @ninapenda and walked around with my team, then I approached some women running business centers around that place. Showing them the summary of what we do from the fliers and how to go about it. I even encouraged them to move down to our stand and ask question if they are confused. One of them said she would do that but that she was very busy at the moment. While one said she isn't interested.

I also saw a particular lady buying waist bead from an a woman selling bead under àn umbrella stand. I approached her and after giving her a flyer and explained thoroughly what Steemalive community was all about. She was so much interested but the only obstacle he had was that she doesn't have an android phone.

My fellow steemians, can someone without a very good android join steemit community? I don't think so.

I am hoping that one of these days she would get one and consider coming down to the office at Azikiwe to register.

I also went ahead to talk to the owner of the umbrella stand. But she was doubting and complaining that its networking business, that I would need members to promote me to a certain level before I would start earning from it. I told her Steem community needs hard working intelligent and calculative writers that would post meaningful write ups on business, food, how one spends his or her day or products etc.

You write, you post and earn without these, you can't just scroll and earn. After all the above explanation, she seems interested to register and that was how I called @marajah to come down to her and explain more.

Not knowing she has a spoilt android, @marajah went ahead to sound more convincing at the long run, she said she's good to go but complained and showed us her spoilt android phone.Both pictures and she promised she would call @marajah when she fixes it.

But, the question is: is it @marajah that would come down to her or she comes down to our steemit office at Azikiwe.

Please, my fellow steemians what is the answer to the above question? ☝️ I need your answers in the comment sections.

Next, I and @marajah left her umbrella stand and moved down to join our fellow steemates. Below is our stand and fellow Steemians

I became busy watching my steemates registering new comers and explaining to passer by what Steemalive community is all about. I also questioned some of my steemates about some certain things like: telegraph, voters etc because am still learning am yet to grab and understand a lot about Steemalive and things done under the community.

@marajah told me its a gradual process because even though she has passed my stage, she is also still learning. But with time and patient, on my part, I'll know and excellent more. I moved over to a guy called @goodseed, he also asked me if am new and I told him yes and also when I registered. He encouraged me to keep up with write ups and try to give comments so others can see my write ups and comment on them.

He took a pix with me but unfortunately, I didn't ask him to transfer the pix to my phone. I would have posted it oh!

We all waited a while for @focusnow and @meymeyshops to join us because they both went inside Abia Polytechnic. I checked my time and it was 1:25pm.

REFRESHMENT TIME
We all moved down to chicken republic for some refreshments. I was filled with much love for this community when I noticed the unity and oneness during this refreshment period.I was standing without a sit and all of a sudden I was offered one by @ninapenda. Besides, on the refreshment table all the team mates where chatting, laughing and even asking Questions.

There was one particular steemian from umuahia chapter she was sharp and intelligent. She was the chatter box amongst all, her name is @ladyofpolicy. The second in motion was @marajah.

I had a swell time. We all finished our snacks that consisted of a bottle of cocacola and meat pie each. Courtesy: of Steemalive Aba, @focusnow, @samuel20 and @ninapenda.

CONCLUSION
We all dismissed but determined not to give up, I still approached @focusnow and told him of the challenge that I've been having posting on Steemalive community. I complained to him that my profile doesn't booth let alone writing and posting on it.He told me it has to do with my phone that its 3g while the best one that would help me is 4g.So, I just have to change my kind of phone to 4g. I thanked him and he also left.

We all boarded buses to our different destinations.
