20TH ROAD SHOW OF ABA ENYIMBA CITY OF ABIA STATE NIGERIA 10% PAYOUT TO STEEMALIVE COMMUNITY.

INTRODUCTION

Good day my dear beautiful steemians. How are you doing? How is the weather in your area? what about your steeming life?

I am here once again, to give you the report of our 20th road show day. which took place on Tuesday 23rd November 2021.
This Tuesday was a wonderful. Tuesday that is full of expectations and experiences.

MY PREPARATION

This Tuesday, just like every other Tuesdays in Aba steemalive community, is among the day's selected for our road show.
So this morning, knowing it as among the days selected for road show, I woke up very early. I prepared my kids for school and started to prepare myself. After my preparation I started going to our venue for the day. But traffic wasn't that friendly, it delayed my movement too much that before I could get to the venue it was late.

But then on my way to the venue, I continued doing promotion inside the tricycle I boarded. I started giving the flyers to my fellow passengers, telling them about steemit, what is stands for, and what it's all about.

OUR PROMOTIONAL VENUE

We the overtakers team, we were supposed to do our promotion inside Abia polytechnic, since the other team by name "winners team" were there on Friday before this Tuesday.

But on getting there, something extra-ordinary happened that got all us confused.

Starting from their gate, I met so many soldiers and policemen with their wagons. All of them holding gun and scaring people.

But I managed to enter the school premises, and started looking for others. But then after sometime of searching inside the school premises without any site of them, I then decided to call our coordinator who told me that, there was lots of gunshots inside the school premises, that made so many people to run away even their students.
That even he himself had to run away. That he is at his office where he is serving as a corper.
That I should come there so that he can tell us the next line of action.

When I got there, I met him signing up one of his colleagues. We were there when @ijebest and @chigold called and join the group. So we decided to take some group pictures.

OUR NEXT LINE OF ACTION

After taking the pictures, myself and @chigold and @ijebest now decided to go to the school area to see if we can see some people to sign up. And also to apply caution to avoid being injured by stray bullets.
But all our efforts didn't yield any good results. After a while the three of us took another picture and said bye for the day.

REASON FOR THE WHOLE CONFUSION AT ABIA STATE POLYTECHNIC TODAY

During the time we were trying to do the little promotion that we were able to do, I met two ladies among the students of the school, walking towards me, discussing about the issue for the confusion in their school that day. I then decided to confront them so as to ascertain from them the real reason behind the choas.

And from what I gathered from them, the whole issue is being caused by the school authority, who had for three years now refused to accredit students from engineering department, for them to go for their youth service.

So today all the students affected by this decision of the school authority, on hearing that the other students of the school are starting their examinations today, now decided to gather together to interrupt the school examinations.

In order for the school authority to stop this from happening, they now decided to invite security personnels like soldiers and policemen, to stop them from achieving their goal.
The soldiers and the policemen on the other hand, started shooting into the air scaring people, and people started running helter skelter for safety, and there was confusion everywhere.

CONCLUSION

All my thanks and gratitude goes to Jehovah, Who protected all of us from Harm. None of us sustained injury. We got home safe and sound.
