My first Dairy game | How I Spent My Thursday, 18/11/2021 | @hilarysmartt | 100% power up

Hi my fellow Steemians and SteemAlivers, hope your day was less hectic than mine. It's been a busy day for me and I will like to share it with you 😉

I was woken up by my lodge mates at about 5:00am for our morning devotion. The flesh was weak but seeing how the market is currently faring on binance motivated me to stand up for prayer.
I didn't regret this decision because the message was amazing. Our lodge Pastor motivated us to believe that Christ is within us and to always proclaim good things with our mouth.

We are perfect just as our father God in heaven is perfect. We qualify for the best things of life.

I enjoyed it because I am one of those people who can be too hard on themselves once they fall out of line with their goals. Rather than being my worst critic, it was nice to bless myself for a change. Since we started our daily morning devotions, I have started being kinder to myself and being my friend rather than a foe.

Moving on from the devotion, I decided I have earned the right to go back to sleep, so I proceeded to my bed. Of course I could not sleep because I realized that today we are having an official program for corp members. Being a president of one of the community development service, I had to be present.

I motivated myself with some gospel proclamations for my soul, it worked because by 7:00am, I was out of bed and before 9:00am, I was at the hall. It was pretty empty when I arrived so I supported by doing little arrangements around the hall and running errands for the officials.

The theme of the event was:
"Optimising the NYSC/CORP employers partnership for national development in the context of the new normal"
NYSC, short for national youth service corp, is an initiative by the Nigerian government since 1973 to promote peace across the country by sending graduates from all over the country to different regions to promote unity and build skills that will be relevant to their future.
This workshop was for corp employers and corp members(the graduates) to have an open conversation on how the scheme can be improved.

I was assigned to actively take minutes of the event and relay it to the corp member who was typing so we can have a comprehensive report for our officials to submit.
Safe to say it was a success - both the event and my minute taking. My reward was a meat pie. After the event we took pictures and escorted our officials out.

After the event, I returned to my work place to prepare this report and carry out some preparations for a meeting and a class I am coordinating this evening. And that's me.

Few days ago, when I created my account, I bought some steem from binance, transferred it to my account and powered up in support of #club100
