Nigerians are hustlers, many people had laid hands on so many labour or work to meet up with the demands of the day and to be successful in life and fulfill their destinies.

Many have gone through apprenticeship to learn their trade while others just started doing something and broke through then became professionals, as we can see or term them today

In this contest I'm going to mention 4 locally acclaimed professionals.

**Number 1

THE LOCAL FOOD VENDOR CALLED, MADAM DO GOOD.

YEARS OF SERVICE

According to her,she has done it 3 year now, even before her husband died and was buried last year.

HER CUSTOMER BASE / HER SERVICES.

She stays and sells at Opobo junction Ogbohill, Aba, Abia State. She sells what we know as 'mama put' she has a lot of customers who patronize her food daily like * Keke operators, okada riders, bus drivers, office workers, passerby, even some individuals come from their homes to buy and eat when they don't feel like cooking. Her food is very nice, even under rain or sunshine she is there under her umbrella selling, and serving the public in her locality.

TYPES OF FOOD SHE SELLS

Rice, beans, meat and stew.
Jellof rice with fried meat or chicken.
Supergheti and salad with meat
Pure water or satchel water is served too

HOW DID I KNOW HER

I usually pass by her stand, seeing many people eating there I decided to patronize her from there noticed she cooks well, so some days I will eat in her stand and she does it very well, I tell you.

**Number 2

POINT OF SALES MAN.

My number two local professional is Mr Chibueze my P. O.S Man. To start with, many people do not know the actual or full meaning of P O S, it actually means, POINT OF SALES.

Mr Chibueze does his job very well, he rented a full shop at Ehere Road, Opposite the popular Ehere Market in Ogbohill, Aba Abia State. And does his business there on daily basis except Sundays.

*Payment for Dstv, GOtv, Startimes, and any other payments people want to make all around the world.

WHY DID I CHOSE HIM

Mr Chibueze is a cool headed young man that has taken his business serious and does the job well. Myself and many others have said so.

He operates with 3 p o s, machines many people gather either to transfer, collect some money or to pay any utility bills of their choice.
He will carefully serve everyone without delay, no network problems or insulting anyone.

I like patronizing him also because he is not I batcher, containers, quosk where thieves could suddenly attack, in his office, he has protector, chairs you can sit down while he is serving you.

BENEFITS OF HIS SERVICES TO THE LOCALITY

Many benefits accrue from his services in the locality. I don't go queing to collect money from A T M (Automated teller machine)

I will rather come to him collect, and move on to where I'm going, whoever comes collect money through your A T M card, pay him his service charge ranging from 100 naira to any amount depending on what you want him to do for you.
His services has saved so much time.

HOW LONG HAS HE BEEN DOING THE BUSINESS / HIS EXPERIENCES.

He has been in the business for 4 years now, initially he comes with his wife and a child but now they have other 2 and the business is sustaining them, his experience is peace, happy home and at least more money, that's everybody's prayer point.

**Number 3

THE THIRD PROFESSIONAL I HAVE IN MY LIST IS MADAM QUEEN, MY SEMSTRES.

Many people generalise them as Tailors but no, a lady that sews as her profession is called a semstres. Not a tailor, their male counterparts are the tailors while the females are semstres.

My own semstres is called madam Queen, she has her shop inside the popular Ehere Market in Ogbohill Aba Abia State.

This is a strong woman that's been at her profession for over 10/ 15 years doing the same job. So she has mastered the act of sewing for ladies which she specialises on.

According to her, she learnt it for 2 years, graduated, started her own in a rented shop in the market, well protected and in a safe environment, no thieves breaking to steal.

HER SERVICES INCLUDE

Sewing blouses for tying wrapper for women
Making dresses for women both long gowns and short gowns.
Making long skirt and blouses for women and so on.
She only specialised on women's wears.
She has some apprentice, ladies learning from her profession, while some has graduated, and are also doing well on their own.

HOW DID I KNOW HER

Some time in 2018, we had a wedding to go for, l gave a tailor a male for that matter my ashoebi uniform to make for me but 3 days to the wedding, he was just trying to start sewing.
I felt very bad because a day has passed from the appointment he gave me for the collection.
So I lost hope on him, then I asked around they directed me to madam Queen by 2days time, the wear was ready with a better optional style and fitting, ever since I decided to patronize her and she has been keeping her promises.

WHY DID I CHOSE HER

She's very prompt despite her ever busy schedules sewing clothes for ladies, she sits down to do her job. Even as I was in her shop yesterday, she bent down busy doing her job. I like her for that, any day she tells you to come and collect your clothe that is it. But still heaps of yet to see clothes, she's very articulate doing her job in other words profession.

**Number 4

MY 4TH LOCAL PROFESSIONAL IS A COBBLER AND AN UMBRELLA REPAIRER.

My number 4 local PROFESSIONAL is a cobbler
or otherwise known by many as a shoe maker. He makes new shoes,repairs old shoes and repairs umbrellas for many people.He repairs umbrellas for people too as you can see him doing now. He is a deaf and dumb man.

This is a deaf and dumb Igbo man serving people, contributing his own qoater in serving and keeping the locality going and peaceful thereby building the economy of the state in general. He is very articulate in his work, he shows you his customers what he wants to do or how he can repair your shoes or umbrella by signs and by writing down his price for you, you also tell him how much you can pay by writing too.

WHY DID I CHOSE HIM

He didn't decide to be begging for alms as he is a deaf and dumb man, but he learnt this trade, as I heard heard he has a wife and children. People say he is from Owerri in Imo State. I keep wondering how he spoke to the driver to bring him to Aba in Abia State it's a mystery from God.

He does the work very well and strong, thereby giving your property a lasting solutions. He is very bold making signs to make sure you are convinced to give the work for him to do for you.

TYPES OF SERVICES HE PROVIDES IN DETAILS.

The cubler / umbrellas repairer as his work emplies, repairs both shoes and umbrellas also makes new shoes for his customers and charge some money with which he takes care of himself, wife and children as I heard he has a wife and children in his State Owerri, he normally goes home to visit them and return back to Aba, Abia State.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE / WHY I CHOOSE HIM.

He knows and does his job very well, I have known him for 3years now and people said he has been there doing his good work for more than 5years. He repaired both my shoes and umbrella, ever since then, I'm enjoying them.
He doesn't charge much money, thought he writes his charges on a paper, you also prize him by writing too. After the work it will last for you, that's why I chose him to work for me.

I may not be able to mention his name here because he is a deaf and dumb man that doesn't talk but will be saying eeeeeeeee gbeeeee gbeee.😂😂😂😂😂

In conclusion, our local professionals are very important in the society, we may not do without them, they're very helpful to me, you and the society at large. So let's encourage them by our patronage to their services.
