MY DIARY GAME SEASON 03: HOW I SPENT MY DAY ON 05-11-2021/POWERING UP 50% OF MY STEEM TO JOIN #CLUB5050 10% FOR @STEEMALIVE

• Me in the morning at home

Good morning to you all in this platform! I'm here to tell you how I spent my day on the 5th of November, 2021!

It is a beautiful morning on the 5th of November, 2021. I woke up around 7:30pm Nigerian time! The day was bright and beautiful with hope for better achievement! When I woke up, I dressed my bed, tidy up my clothes in my wardrobe! Arranged the house! After the arrangement of my room, I swept my environment! I fetched water for washing! I washed my plates and kitchen utensils! After the kitchen duty, I proceed to the washing of my clothes! After all the washing, I went to the kitchen to prepare a sumptuous and delicious breakfast! Guess what I took for breakfast? It was noodles with fry eggs combined with pap and tin milk for a sweet taste! I know you will have love to join me right? Not to worry, next time I will invite you all to share my breakfast with! After the preparation of the breakfast, I went to the shower and had a cool bath!
After bathing, I took my breakfast and dressed up for a friend's wedding at Jubilee Redemption Bible church in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria!

The wedding started at exactly 10:30pm Nigerian time! The event was colourful! The event was held at Jubilee Redemption Bible Church at Ifa Atai Etoi, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The wedding started with an opening prayer, praises and worship! This was followed by the first Bible reading! After the first Bible reading next was ministration by the choir followed by thanksgiving prayers! Next on line was the recognitions of dignitaries and guests following by general offering! Next was announcement and sermon by the pastor!

Next on line was the event proper, the procession for the wedding of the bride and the groom! The bride and the groom were given seats of honour! Prayers and praises were ministered after which the bride, the groom, the bride's parents and the groom's parents were called to the altar! The ministering pastor asked the parents of the celebrants if they have consented to the wedding of their wards and they say "yes"! After this, the wedding vows was conducted and the bride and the groom said " yes I do" and they both kissed themselves! The pastor blessed their marriage and certificate of marriage was issued to them! After the marriage blessing, it was time for photographs! The order of photographs was observed and this brought the wedding to an end in the church and everybody proceeded to the traditional marriage ground!

MY EVENING ACTIVITIES

In Africa, we have three (3) types of marriage, wedding, traditional marriage and court marriage which is often optional! The traditional marriage was unfold when the Master of Ceremony (Mc) open the floor by recognizing dignitaries and guests after which the bride's parents were ushered in with good music and were given seats! The Mc then called on spokespersons for both the bride and the groom's family! Floor was given to the spokesman for the bride's family to introduced his people at the high table after which the groom's spokesman was also given a change to do introduction and also tell the public of their intention! The groom's spokesman declared that they gathered in order to marry the bride to the groom! The Mc asked the groom's spokesman to produced the groom in question! In this aspect, the groom was ushered on by his friends, family and well wishers with a cool traditional music! Here, the groom declared his intention to married the bride!

The bride was also ushered in by her friends, family and well wishers also with a cool traditional music! The parents of both celebrants consented to the marriage and traditional marriage blessing was observed! After the marriage blessing, cool traditional live band music were played for entertainment of the guests and this was followed by refreshment and order of photographs! This brought the traditional marriage to an end!
