Introduction

I woke up on Good Friday morning with the awareness that that was the day Christ died on the Cross for my sins. You know that sort of awareness that stares at you in the face and reminds you of all the things you've done and all that Christ did to set you free?
That day was already Holy, I could not do certain things, I was just too conscious of that day.

Morning

It was a public Holiday so I didn't have anywhere special to go to so I woke up quite late, around 8am, and said my prayers. Cleaned the house, made breakfast and ate, had my bath. I prepared for my class as I had a class to teach that morning.
Since it was a holiday, I decided to move my evening class to morning, and also because of our Easter program in church that evening.
I taught by super intelligent boy, thoughI didn't take pictures with him. The boy is 6, but can give you answers to division like:
21÷3 = 7
42÷7 =6
81÷9 =9
All without counting sticks like his class mates would.
In fact, when I was looking through his exam papers, his teacher, out of whatever reason, decided to give him half marksin some questions just because he provided answers to division without drawing out the counting sticks like he taugh other kids.
I didn't know how to classify that sort of thing. I mean, a child is trying to move forward, you're trying to drag him back! I had to show his script to the parents. The mum was not happy at all. They will know how to handle it better from there.

Afternoon

We finished around 1pm, and I decided to take my normal shortcut home. Same shortcut I saw some masquerades the other time which I made a write-up about.
As I got close to the Catholic Church that is on that corner, I saw this:

They were preparing to stage a drama ministration of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. I mean it was a good Friday, the Day Jesus was crucified.

So one guy came in and told the men working there to hurry up that they will soon be there. I didn't understand what that meant until I walked pass them and turned the corner and then, I saw this large crowd moving towards me:

They were staging the crowd that followed Jesus, as He was taken to be crucified. They had soldiers dressed in the olden Roman Empiy uniform beating and dragging Him. The wip they use in beating him was made of soft cotton. They beat Him and Shouted "move it" and forced Him made to carry the cross.

At some point, the crowd stopped and had a short servive there. The priest read the part of the scriptures that talked about how he was mocked and stripped naked, how they wanted to tear his clothes among themselves but decided to cast lots so one person could take it home whole. This scenario was prophesied already in the old testament by prohet Isaiah. I think they read it from Matthew chapter 27, around verse 35. I stood and watched them and took some pictures until they were ready to start moving and they started mocking him and beating Him again.
Watching that little drama it dawned on me that that whole thing actually happened! I mean the son of the living God took on flesh and came down to be beaten by mere men just so that the anger of God upon us because of our sins can be turned away.
That whole episode just made me realise how much God loves us, no matter what we see around us, my that God has a better love for us than the things we see with our eyes.
I felt like following them back to where they wil nail Him to the cross, but I was too tired; I had to go home and prepare for my own service in the evening.
So I got home and had a little thing to eat and lay on the bed to do some things online with my laptop.

Evening

When it was 5pm, I got up, dressed up and went to church. Service was so really awesome. I got home around to 9pm, tried to write a little, I couldn't slept off.

Conclusion:

Thank you for reading through my day. I really really had a very fulfilled day knowing that God love me dearly enough to give up is son for me.
