In my steemit journey, the road is not too smooth, it's full of challenges of which I've overcome some and yet to overcome some.
My Challenges, How I Overcame it, And Who Helped:
I encountered a challenge even before 'Signing up steemit'. It took me 2 days to successfully sign up steemit. All efforts the first day proved abortive. The second day was kinda successful but then another issue arose. @dequeen helped me to sign up on the second day but unknowingly to us while trying to download the keys pdf, she mistakenly clicked the GENERATE PASSWORD key and we never knew we had to copy the new key we generated. In fact non of us knew we actually generated a new key. Accessing the account was not possible as we didn't copy the new key we generated.
But thanks to @eliany who came to our rescue, she told us exactly what to do when I decided to sign up a new account. Now I can successfully help another person to sign up for steemit.
Understanding the different currencies in the steemit platform is another big challenge. I've come across different values like SBD and, SP.
I don't really know the difference between the 3 values and I hope that someone will put me through and I'll get to understand it well. Even yesterday I came across some rewards I didn't claim but @eliany asked me to redeem it. All thanks to her.
Achievement post in the newcomers community is yet another challenge. I did my first achievement post after I signed up steemit and I was expected to the the remaining ones. But it took me many days to know the uses of each key. But luckily today I went through my profile and I found the answers to my questions.
Now I will do my second achievement post about keys and security.
I thought steemit would just accept any post and vote for it but I was wrong. I came to understand that quality post free of plagiarism is what they vote for and consistency is the key. But I seem to lose focus since I'm preparing for my upcoming examination. I barely participate in contests but I hope I'll get more time after my exams.
My Advice To Others:
Each day we face different challenges so my advice to other stemians is that they try as much as possible to express themselves so that they can get help where necessary.
