Foreword

As life goes on and on there are some things in life that makes you regret some situation and some bad decision made. Regrets makes you feel bad whenever it is remembered. Hello friends, will be talking about my regretful situation.

My Regret

Growing up as a young girl my parents were my hero, they moltivate me in some little decisions they make especially my mum, I get inspired by some of the things she does without her even knowing that those things affected my life. I have always being high-spirited and strong, these are the values that I make sure I possess myself because life is not a bed of roses. Growing up I had this spirit of saving I was really good at it and most times my parents turn me to their bank by giving me money to keep for them knowing it was secured and won't be tampered with. When I was in secondary school which was a boarding school was where the whole story line started, I didn't like most of the food prepared in the school so most times I sold my food in exchange with money and I had this regular customer who always buys from me so no need of stressing myself looking for who will buy it, that was how all my business ideas started. I planned my life, wrote it on my diary before I left secondary school but most of my plans didn't work out, but it wasn't that bad though. I planned on starting up a business but it didn't work out because I got admission both the money I saved and my pocket money which was always given to me every visiting day was all gone, my business plan failed.

I ventured into my study with full concentration and everyday advice from my parents to always focus on my study, their expectations were high on me and the pressure too. My whole focus was on my study, my business ideas vanished into the thin air but still inborn. First 3 years into my study with full concentration and focus until covid-19 which was 2020, I was at home throughout the year without doing anything I slipped into depression, I was yelling to do something even if it was learning a skill but fell on deaf ears, my parents didn't give me that opportunity not even for once, that year still remains my worst year. Finally I decided to find something for myself without my parents support, I was cashless and couldn't start up anything so I decided to look for a job and I found one towards the end of the year and I focus my attention again to raising money for my business ideas, though the work was stressful but I didn't complain much because there was something I was looking for. Deep into my new job, the strike was called off and once again school issues came up once more and my parents asked me to stop the job and focus on my studies once more. I told my parents I can cope with it and my study that am going to survive the whole situation once again they didn't agree to my decision and my plans were shattered once again I couldn't raise money for my business ideas, the semester was over and the next session started again strike struck again at the deadest moment. I regretted stopping my job because assuming I was doing the job till now my business ideas would have come through. Still hopeful for the future because I won't rest till my business ideas come through.

Afterword

Business have always being a main lead, having hope in salary is just modern slavery and salary is never enough due to the bad situation of the country. Things are getting high but salary is always constant.But being a salary earner but still have other side hustle makes things more easier.
