The Power Of Instinct

Hey there! It's Jaydee. One thing i know for certain is that my instinct is never wrong. You'll get to know why I said this.

First of I got baptised !!!!! As a Christian the essence of getting baptised by immersion can't be over emphasized.

Prior to the baptism I braided my hair and had already carried it for 3 weeks, so as the baptism was getting close I had to loose the hair and also make plans regarding what to do to the hair after baptism. Baptism was on a Saturday morning started as early as 8am and ended around 9am. We were over 30 persons present.

After the baptism I headed to crunchies with my friend to have breakfast, after which we went to her house. There was this hairstyle I saved on my phone that I wanted to make, it was just a natural hairstyle( I'm on natural hair). I wanted to make something simple, I slept till around past 1pm then headed to the salon.

This was were my instinct played a huge role, I showed the girl in the salon the style I wanted to make and she said she can make it. While she made the ones behind I wasn't really pleased with what I was seeing and I knew I couldn't carry that hair, the girl kept trying to coerce me that the hair would make sense when she's done. I waited till she came to the front made like 3 ....at this point I said noooo, can't continue with this hair cause it isn't what I showed her in the picture, at this point I quickly decided to do gel.

This was the first time I had ever made gel, as soon as she started packing the hair I knew this was it 😃. I relaxed and admired my hair in the mirror. When they were done I was pleased that I followed my instinct and change the hairstyle.
