Good Day People, hope we are doing well today.
Guess you're wondering the reason behind the title of my story.

I usually go to church almost everyday to work with my friend cause there's steady power supply. Yesterday as usual my friend and I agreed that we would meet up in church. I'm usually the one that comes late anyways 😃.

I got to church around past 12,unfortunately my friend hadn't arrived , called her but she didn't pick up , ate my fried yam and potato with the sauce, drank chilled water to step it down. After about 30 minutes the generator was turned on so I plugged my phone, my second phone was still charged so I was reading with it.

After about 2hours I slept off, woke after a while cause I heard some noise close to where I plugged my phone, a guy and a lady were trying to plug there's, I checked and confirmed that mine was there and it was charging then I slept off again.

I woke up this time around past 3pm and saw only my charger and an iPhone there, didn't see my phone nor the other girls' own. At that point I assumed that maybe the church workers took it or something.

The young lady entered so I asked her if she had collected her phone cause I couldn't find mine, she said "no". At this point I didn't know what to think. We asked around and then discovered that a weird guy had entered the church and was last seen around the place we plugged our phones.

After mid week service, I kept trying my line and it was ringing but noone picked. The next morning I tried again and this time it was switched off then I finally accepted that my phone was gone and had to go do welcome back.

On reaching Mtn office they asked for my NIN, had to go to Government House waited for the man in charge to arrive plus the heavy rain that was falling that morning. Finally the Man arrived and I collected my NIN went back to Mtn office and retrieved my line, was asked to insert the sim card after 2 hours.

The Church is seen seen a sacred place where people come to and they are saved, but these days the reverse is the case. Don't know how people do it but I just pray God shows them Mercy.
