Introduction
Hi great steemians is been a while I posted here, just want to share my community present challenge with you in this community. Thanks to steemalive.

Water is the basic amenity to man existence. The need and use of water are numerous ranging from drinking to quench thirst, to cooking to satisfy hunger, to bathing and the likes.

In my community in Akwanga to be preside, water have been a major challenge because of absence of light for about 2 weeks. This resulted on the increasing need of water. Many individuals who have boreholes in their house are refusing community to fetch water from there houses.
Prior to this time when the community had stable electricity supply, people fetch water at there pace in my house. For over a week now the community have been in total darkness as a result of lightning that affected the source of light.

Water became a major challenge in the community. The challenge increase day by day. But starting from Monday being 1st November, 2021 the challenge of water increases more than the previous days. When I considered the community present challenge of the need of water and how life can be so frustrating without it, am always restless. This made me to buy more fuel.

On a norm little fuel can sustain us in the house but with this current challenge we have to think also of the community current predicament. My conscience couldn't allow me to see people's need on water and be comfortable. I went ahead to buy fuel that will bomb water for even my community to fetch. I bombed water for hours through the night in other to curtail the present need.
Very early in the morning around 5am, people gathered in my house to fetch water. The number of people was so much that we aren't able to control and every body strongle to pave his or her way to get water.

They fetch water for hours without any obstruction from any one as such they couldn't go to there businesses unless the fetch water. This is the current predicament of the community. Many were not compassionate to release water to the people, they sell water even to the extent of increasing the price of water.

Just think of how water scarcity will be if the challenge continues. No doubt, water scarcity will be worse and people lives will be frustrating.

This is a serious matter, see how the lack of one thing can affect the other....the absence of electricity brought about the lack of water.
Such a good heart your family has to provide water with their own resources.

Hello dear @jwinny, i feel so bad reading this post because I've once lived in a place where there is water scarcity and I must tell you that the experience is not something to ride home about, I just pray the government will locate these small villages and provide them with the necessary social amenities for a better livelihood, thanks for sharing this experience with us.
