I'm so joyful as I write to affirm the position as the Umuahia city co-ordinator of @steemalive community. We have been selected from different parts of Nigeria as city co-ordinators to represent steemalive and Steemit in our various cities, if you missed the SCC announcement post by @steemalive, check it out here.

Moreover we have an existing Umuahia city coordinator who's been doing a very great job @davchi and I believe working as a team would yield more result in the city. We have over 20 active users and an active social media handle (WhatsApp) where we mentor and keep every Steemian updated.

With regards to the existing mission, which is the 3Rs (Recruit, Retain and Reward), we are going to publicize Steemit in umuahia and beyond to make sure every gender or entity both old and young gets to hear and join steemit . We are going to have meetups, at least every month where we will also train newbies and have fun.

There are so many things ahead of us to do, and I know that @steemalive @steemitblog and @steemcurator01 will give us all necessary support we need to make sure that Steemit gets to the grassroot.
