What attracts a woman to her future husband or potential spouse? This is a question i always ask myself when i think of my dream spouse. So on this post, i want to give answers to this question. There are so many qualities i look out for in a potential spouse because i feel every man is a potential spouse to some one out there, but i am going to talk about the 4 top ones for me.

• A potential spouse should has a good sense of humor!
  A sense of humor can be a lifesaver in a relationship. He should be a playful person and should have the ability to laugh at one’s self and at life’s foibles because that will allow him to maintain a proper perspective while dealing with sensitive issues that arise within us. I feel like Couples who are playful and teasing often defuse potentially volatile situations with their humor, so a good sense of humor will definitely eases the tense moments in the relationship.

• A potential spouse should have respect for me.
  It is difficult to live your life with someone who disrespects you, your personality and family or even downplays your ambitions in life. When it comes to looking out for a potential partner, its very important he respects all aspects of my life, my family especially because they are most important to me. So Mutual respect is one defining traits i look out for in a potential partner.

• A potential spouse should be able to teach me something new.
  I feel like Life together will be pretty boring if i can’t learn anything from a potential partner or spouse. For example, Learning something i meant can be a lesson as small as making a snacks or something more substantial, like how to use fork and knife properly (it must not necessarily be those). For me, this means he’s well-versed in current affairs and will give me the clear version of the current events. So learning a thing or two really goes a long way when it comes to having that potential spouse.

• A potential spouse should be honest.
  Communication is everything – without it, there is no relationship. He should be honest about what he wants and needs. Being honest is really important because without it, there can't be trust and its just as good as deceiving me and lieing to me at the same time. So its very important a potential spouse is honest because thats the only way i can know him more.
