INTRODUCTION
Greetings friend and wonderful people in steemalive family. I hope everyone is good today ?? Am still your favorite girl @Ladyofpolicy and welcome to my blog page once more. The movie industry in general has been a very powerful and pivotal tool in shaping the society, building and unifying the nation through their educative, persuasive, informing and entertaining movie. Today is the third day of my writing challenge and I will like to introduce a genius to you all. He's a popular Nigeria actor whose character is unique and specific,although some might think he's an evil man because of the character/role he plays the most in movie,but trust me he's simply the best. He's name is Pete Edochie.
BACKGROUND OF PETE EDOCHIE
Pete Edochie who is from the Igbo ethnic group is an indigene of Anambra State. He was born on March 7, 1947, in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria.
Pete Edochie had his primary and secondary Education in Zaria, Kaduna State of Nigeria. After his formal education, he worked with the Nigerian Railway Cooperation. Later, he went further to study a course in Journalism and Television in the School of Journalism and television in England. Looking at his background,Pete Edochie didn't come from a poor family.
HIS PERSONAL LIFE
Pete Edochie got married at 22 to his lovely wife Josephine and is blessed with six children among who are Yul Edochie and Linc Edochie, both Nollywood actors. Very little is known about his other four children. Pete also has several grandchildren from his six children.
CAREER HISTORY
Pete Edochie is one of Nigeria’s most successful actors. The veteran actor who is seen as one of Africa’s most talented has amassed several movie awards to his name. Although a seasoned administrator and broadcaster, he came to limelight in the 1980s when he played the lead role of Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s masterpiece novel, Things Fall Apart. He is a Christian, a devout member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Pete Edochie joined the Eastern Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (ENBC) in 1967 and in 1980; he was trained formally in the British Broadcasting Corporation as a broadcaster and started off as a junior programmes assistant after which he was elevated to the level of a Director.
Even though he was director of programmes, Pete Edochie, sometimes doubled as Deputy Managing Director and occasionally acting as Managing Director. He quit ABS (Note that ENBC became Radio Biafra during the Nigeria civil war, was renamed the East Central State Broadcasting ESBS after the civil war and was changed to Anambra Broadcasting Service with the creation of Anambra and Imo states in 1976) because the government decided to politicize the affairs of their FM station, thereby, resulting in the entire management being asked to move out, including him. He was to be the immediate successor to the MD but had to leave, moving into the movie industry.source
HIS ACHIEVEMENTS
The first time he went on stage was in 1962 at age 15 when he was a student at St. John’s College. He featured in the drama; Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare.

WHY I CHOOSE HIM
Pete Edochie is a man with too many qualities that is worthy of emulation and few of the qualities I will like to copy from him includes;
• Edochie is known for acting and overtime, he has motivated other professionals in the industry. No wonder, he was awarded a Member of the Order of Niger. Pete is a brilliant actor and has remained committed to his dreams.
Entrepreneurs should learn to stick to their business vision and stay true to it. By sticking to your vision and seeing it through, you will leave a legacy. He is indeed a man that knows how to stick to his dream and I like that quality.
• One of the attributes that have endeared the thespian actor to his viewers is the web of wisdom he displays through proverbs. Basically, he is referred to as King of African proverbs and plays his roles distinctively. Edochie could pass for a wicked King, loving King, and even a traditional king. For entrepreneurs, our business brands are like our reputation. We have to protect it, reinvent it and live it. Your clients should know what your brand represents by your communication. This is a unique quaility he has.
Amongst every other qualities of Pete Edochie,I choose the above mentioned two because it's very outstanding about him and I will like to emulate such unique characters from him.
