Good evening great steemian,I believe we all had a fantastic day,well i must confess that today was so busy for me but nevertheless,am happy to write to you all tonight.
I will like to talk about a topic I tagged "depression and suicide".
Today being Monday,it was reported that a final year student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike,in Umuahia Abia state Nigeria,committed suicide as a result of depression.
According to those who were present in the crime scene,it was reported that he hung himself on the ceiling fan,aside that,a written note was found beside him which state the reason he committed suicide and he also removed his phone from security lock and videos and voice notes with regards to his suicide was found in the phone.

This young man happens to be the first child of his family,the father is late and the mother is paralyzed and he also have his three siblings to take care of,he is in his finals and there is no money to pay both house rent,school fees,his projects or even handouts,at this point Depression stepped in,he has no one to talk to but he forgot that he has "God".
Finally when he decided to talk to someone,he went to meet his friends for help but do you know what the guy told him,?
write my exams for you and I will give you enough money to foot your bills and the guy accepted,to cut the long story short,he was caught impersonating and getting was expelled from school after much pleading. He went home and the only option the devil was playing for him was to take his life.

Listen and listen good,he's dead and there is no coming back,he already judged himself and he's spending his eternity in hell,meanwhile his paralyzed mother and younger siblings are still here,his death will change nothing rather than to add more pain and sorrow to them.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

• Truth be told,everyone is going through one challenge or the oyjer,that we wake up every morning,put on our makeup,wear a nice dress and a scented perfume and wear a smile on our faces doesn't mean we are 100% OK,but no matter what you face in life,DON'T DIE.
• Depression is a silent killer,don't give room to it,never push friends away and lock yourself up when you're going thtough a phase because the more lonely and alone you stay,the more frustrating life becomes and the more chances of suicide increases.
• Suicide has a stigma that can never be wiped out,before you think of killing yourself,think about the people youre going to leave behind and what they are going to face when you're gone.
• Its so heartbreaking how an image of God will end his own life,no matter what the devil tells you,no matter the meeting that is going on in your head,always be in charge,don't give room to the devil to play mind games with you,that its hard today doesn't mean that it won't get better tomorrow.

IN SUMMARY

If you regard yourself as a full steemian,endeavor to work very hard,give your all to steemit,let steemit owe you so that tomorrow you won't get depressed and take your life because you don't have money,most of the cases of depression and suicide we record lately is as a result of lack of money,please don't die because of lack.
Say no to depression
Say no to suicide
