A bright, clear, and happy day. My engagements for 23rd May 2021 by @madilyn02

It was indeed a bright and clear day! People flooding to their places of worship, lots of happy faces. The wind blowing very gently.

This is the morning of 23rd May 2021, which fell on a Sunday. Sunday's are normally a day of worship for Christians. You see people dressed up in their most gorgeous outfits. You see so many people leave their houses, some are going for church service, some are going for a meeting with someone special while others have other plans.
Greetings my fellow steemians. I would like to use this opportunity to share a little about how my day went.
Like I had said in my opening remark so many people had their plans for the day and I also had mine.

I woke up a bit late today, around 6:30 am. Quickly rushed out of the bed and said my morning prayer to God, did some household chores and started preparing breakfast. But before breakfast it is our custom to take ginger tea first before food so I prepared the tea while making breakfast and then served to everyone.

We had less than 1 hour. To do what? You may wonder. Well we were going to have our congregation meetings. We normally had it every Sunday by 10:30 am and on Monday's by 5:30 pm through zoom. We use the zoom to have our meetings because of the ongoing pandemic, we put great emphasis in the importance of life and obedient to instructions. So we make sure we observe the social distancing measure by using this app to conduct our meetings.
The meeting time finally arrived and we were all set 30 minutes before the time.
The meeting was so encouraging, we learnt how to deal with our trials by imitating people in the past who dealt successfully with their trials.
After the meeting we studied the Bible together and then had our lunch.
After that I had to do some laundry, washing and ironing.
Well I know the importance of rest and that is why I had to relax a little bit to watch this movie entitled 'bahubaali '. It is an Indian action movie. The movie is about a warrior Prince who puts the interests of others ahead of his.

After that I went in an started preparing my achievement 5 task 1. Though I wasn't able to make the post that day but I have posted it this morning.
It was evening already. The day passed by so fast and the sky was also cloudy.
I helped my brother with his math assignment and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner which we all ate, I then did the dishes and we all retired to bed.

How do you think my day went? I think is was wonderful. It's a pleasure to be who I am and I thank God for making me.
