ROLE MODEL
A role model is one who another one (haha) loves , admires and looks up to. A role model must be Confident, hardworking, etc
So, basically everyone have their bad sides and their good sides but the question is .......does your good side overshadow your bad side or does the side side take control?
These people that I have mentioned as role models do have these sides to them but to the best of my knowledge, they're not so bad. As imperfect as they are, I chose to look at their good qualities which I admire and it inspires me. I however, do have a long list of people whom I admire their fragments which make a whole of the pie chart of that which influences me. For every part of my life, I have people I admire their works and in the dimensions of music, inspiration, entertainment and motivation....these are the people I will highlight today.

Marsai Martin is a beautiful black teenager, a great actress and executive producer who is only about 17 years years old. She is a big influence to the younger generation and to me! Marsai has made Hollywood history by being the industry's youngest executive producer while also running her own production firm, Genius Productions! And yet she didn't let this snatch her teenage life from her.
Marsai demonstrates that if you work hard enough, you can achieve your goals and have your voice heard! I literally love her so much.
It's funny cause we're almost age mates and I'm just older than her with some months yet she's achieved so much and is still achieving. Maybe I'm comparing but I'm not comparing me and her to the point of jealousy or envy rather I admire her a lot!

- She is authentic
- She is brave
- She is vocal
- She is hardworking and industrious
- She is amazing

- She has won over 10 NAACP awards
- She has won a Screen Actors Guild Award.
- She has several awards and nominations in her name
- She holds the world record of youngest hollywood executive producer
- She just started her luxury nail brand and the list goes on.

You don't know Beyonce? Okay, let's assume you don't know the Queen Bee.
Beyonce Giselle Knowles- C is a multi award winning powerhouse in music. She is married woman with three children and still runs her business! It's the finesse, charisma and the way she balances her private life and superstar life for me! Noticeably, she does not like involving herself in conflicts which the music industry calls "beef" and she does not really like addressing issues she feels are irrelevant but nevertheless, she is fierce and hardworking. Her performances are top-notch, her vocals are on point and of course, she is breathtaking.
What are the qualities I see that I like about Beyonce?
- She is a perfectionist (I'm not saying I want to be one Sha) so, she's hardworking.
- She is fierce and knows what she wants.
- She is kind and generous (to the best of my knowledge)
- She is relatable
What are her achievements?
- during the 2010s grammy, she walked away with six awards — the most wins in a one night as a female artist
- She has over a hundred awards and over 200 nominations
- She is the co-founder of chime for change, a female empowerment foundation
- She started her clothing line, ivypark and so on.

Amanda Gorman is a 23 year old public speaker, poet and author. You must've heard of her being the youngest poet to recite a poem at a presidential inauguration. Since then, she's been growing. I admire her boldness. And since I aspire to be a public speaker and poet, I could learn a thing or two, right? I've not followed up Amanda like the rest of my guests on this writing, but so far, all I can say is that she's brave.
What are the qualities I see that I like about Amanda?
- She's brave
- She's bold
- She's outspoken
what are her achievements so far?
- The youngest inaugural poet in the USA
- The first national youth poet laureate in the US.
- The first poet to recite at Superbowl
These are a few among many. I have so many people I love and admire some if not all aspects of their life. Las Las, in all you do , imitate the good and leave the bad ones.
