If I was the biological mother to love
I'll love completely and not lost
I'll make sure to care for you like the bird dove
But in doing so, I won't kiss the dust

If I was, I'll not spare the rod so as not to spoil the child
I'll try to let my words of wisdom sink in
I'll scream them loud, you'll think I'm wild
But I just want you to come in

For if I was the biological mother to love, I'll love completely and not hold back
For at the back, dwells the dark.
