What is water?
Water is an inorganic, transparent, tasteless, odorless, and nearly colorless chemical substance that is the primary constituent of the Earth's hydrosphere as well as the fluids of all known living organisms. It is necessary for all known forms of life despite the fact that it does not provide food, energy, or organic micronutrients.
Why does the body need water
Drinking water can help with preventing medical cases like constipation, hypertension etc. Water is more than just a thirst quencher; it is also necessary for your body to function properly and feel healthy. Water is required for nearly all of your body's major systems to function and survive. You'd be surprised at how much staying hydrated can help your body.
Here are a few examples of how water functions in your body:
Maintains body temperature
Eye, nose, and mouth tissues are moistened.
It safeguards the body's organs and tissues.
Transports nutrients and oxygen to cells.
It is a Joint lubricant
Reduces the burden on the kidneys and liver by flushing out waste products
It aids in the dissolution of minerals and nutrients, making them available to your body.
Types of water
There are so many types of water: acidic, alkaline, mineral, hard water, sparkling water etc but we'll focus on the acidic and alkaline water more
Why? Because one is good to drink, and the other is not
What is acid water and why avoid it?
As opposing to alkaline water, which has a pH extra than 7, acidic water has a pH of 6.5 or less (2). What is alkaline water and why should we drink enough of it?
Drinking Alkaline water, it's far said, gives greater fitness advantages than one. However, though drink alkaline water is safe, it's not so advisable to continuously consume artificial alkaline water. Just know, that alkaline water sort of undo the bad things acid water does, got it?
Where we get drinking water in my community
In my community, welp, there's a stream more like a river don't drink it. They do more of borehole waters and satchet waters. It's not a rural area yet not really urban.
What is your own source of drinking water?
Well, it's a borehole too and sometimes we buy satchet water bags and bottle water too. Really we just drink water 🙃
what quantity of water should be consumed daily?
There's this thing about drink 11 to 13 cups a day? But I say, listen to your body and drink as many to keep you hydrated.
