I am learning about this for the first time. Please, is it like an induction?

I understand that labour can be induced. If no, then I will like to understand if it can be combined with other drugs like the one use to induce labour.

It's not an induction it's used to stop labour pain why you push your baby with it you can be able to give birth without feeling pain, you will only be advised to push when you feel a little contraction 👍

It is scary. I have been shivering while reading this post. I cannot control my palpitating heart again😢😭

How do people sit still to receive this at the spinal cord region? Is this what pregnant women go through sometimes?

Yes, it seems like an awful way to receive the treatment.
