My day started slow with almost nothing to do for the day except for the fact that i needed to get a few things from the market. The market is just 2mins walk away from my house so it was easy to get there and come back.i was just on my bed thinking of what to eat when it became clear that it was pass 12noon. i wore my pullover because it was cold.
Getting to the market was easy but getting to buy something knowing that it is not an English speaking country. it was a real struggle but with much sign languages and pointing of hand i got a few things.
Senegal has lots of fish so i had to take advantage of it. almost everything is sold in kilos and they are very fresh. just a few weeks here i am adding flesh. i talk tire for market just to buy vegetables if you see my eye hmmm
let me give you small
picture of the local market
i came back after a good rest i had to rush for music rehearsals because i was running late. it a fun filled rehearsal, i met new faces and new friends.my music director Mr KC is an amazing person very humble. it was like i was not in a new place because of the warm embrace i got. the country is a very peaceful and quite one. i am having a good time away from home.
Coming back home to my well deserved dinner because i no go lie my mind dey the food even for church. I chop am well with cold coke clean mouth.
