HURRAYYYYYYYYYY, I AM NOW THE AKWAIBOM STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR STEEMALIVE|| OUR LAST WEEKEND MEETUP/FOOTBALL GAME WAS MARVELOUS, SIGNED UP 1 NEWBIE IN THE FIELD, PROMOTED STEEM TO OTHERS|| 10% TO @STEEMALIVE

Greetings to you all dear friends and fellow steemians, I am back to report how the meetup and football game I announced in this [post](https://steemit.com/hive-167622/@ngoenyi/uyocity-road-show-day-10-is-tomorrow-are-you-readyyyyyy-or-or-our-football-match-meetup-is-here-again-it-is-going-to-be-grand) went.

I am also glad to be given a new role as a state representative for steemalive which was announced in this post.

I and @ijelady promoted steem and I was able to sign up one person in the field and gave out fliers to others. See how it all went,

MY APPOINTMENT AS AKWAIBOM STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR STEEMALIVE COMMUNITY

When a community is growing and training more people, there will really be need to give some responsibilities to some person's who have proved to be very helpful in one way or the other. You all know that I have been the city cordinator for Uyo and others, and since my acceptance, I have been working in that capacity. But as the community as grown and produced more capable hands, it was necessary to give more people the opportunity to help train others and help advance the role of the community.

In this case, I was given the role of being the Akwaibom State/ others states without representatives to be their state representative. It is a huge responsibility but I am also glad that an arrangement was made for team cordinators to be accepted to work along with the representatives.

While I am so happy that I have been given this role, I am also grateful that a team cordinator has already been accepted to work with me. Others will come as they apply and are approved. I therefore congratulate @ijelady for applying for the role and thank @steemalive for accepting her to work with me.

At the same time, I am glad that @steemalive gave me the role of being the state representative. I will work in that capacity. While other team cordinators are going to join me, I have already started working with Ijelady that has been accepted already.

OUR LAST WEEKEND/FOOTBALL GAME MEETUP WAS HUGE

I organized a meetup for us as steemians in my city to have a little fun and thus still promote steem to onlookers.

It recorded a huge success as the purpose was achieved. By 3pm, I and my kids were already at the vanue at udo Udoma field. I went with @madilyn02 @fortwis09 @wizzyboy3 and @davosimple who had brought back out jersey which he took home to assist with the washing. We met @benson6 there as soon as we got there.

You can see us with the bag of the jerseys going in to the field to locate a better place to stay. We finally settled down and started playing without the jerseys so we can wait for others to join us like @esthyfashion and @ijelady

After paying for a while, others joined us and we changed to our steemit jersey and played the game until other footballers who usually play in that field. Well, while others were playing, I and @ijelady went to promote steem to them. They all paid attention to our explainations. They asked questions and we answered them. Being that they wanted to play soccer, they couldn't wait to sign up but they got our contacts while we got theirs.

One of them signed up imediately and ran in to play and promised to chat me up because I assisted him to sign up.

@visions1 was the one that signed up and promised to set up his profile and chat me up when his done.

When we were done Playing the game, we took some pictures

From the field, we headed to the market square/Tropicana Mall for a little refreshment and meetup proper.

There we spoke about the #club5050 and the new rule of monthly power up. It was explained to us all present and we'll understood. We took snacks and soft drinks to refresh before goin home

We went home and as I was trying to write this post, those footballers chatted me up for them to sign up. See the screenshots of the chats both from @visions1 and 2 others. We didn't talk much because it was late already. One has email problem and needs to create a new one, the one was ready but because of an discord radio show I was having with my fellow promo-steem members, we couldn't continue. By tomorrow, I will chat him up

This was how it all went. I am glad to organize such an event that brings us together as steemians in my city.
