As a requirement for all @steemalive city cordinators, I hereby present my weekly report to review the activities in the cities I am cordinating. As a cordinator for cities that are scattered around The country, we are not in a particular geographical location, a lot of steemians are scattered all around the country where is no Cordinator, that is why they are all under me. Here is the review for the week under consideration.

Ingathering of more users under my cities

We continue to welcome new recruits and welcome old steemians who are within the cities I cordinate. We are growing in number. I am seriously making efforts to gather them all. I do this by making announcements in our general whatsapp group page and by sharing the link to the users I have with me to share to their friends so that they can join us. Last week, we were 50 users. But for this week, we have added. The table below will reveal our number.

Meetups

We were not able to meet physically this week because, we have made solid arrangement to meet via zoom video conferencing and through our social media group on whatsapp and most recently, on telegram.

• Telegram group is a new group I created in compliance with the directive from the founder of @steemalive. We are growing in number and so because whatsapp has a limited number of users it allows to be in a group, telegram becomes the best option with more features that can accommodate more users. Hence, @steemalive moved it users to telegram where we have our chats as a community. It therefore becomes necessary that all cordinators move their group to telegram. That was why I created a telegram group for my people. Please I want to, encourage all who haven't join us in telegram to do so.

The above screenshotes reveals that we are just 22 members that have joined the group. Most of my fellow steemians complain that their device is filled up to accommodate more apps. While some are jet to join us. We await them to join us soon even though the whatsapp group is still open. I am currently running the two groups together to accommodate those that have not yet join telegram.

This week, precisely on 24th April,2021 by 3pm, I organized a zoom video conferencing as a way to meet with my fellow steemians in the cities I am cordinating. It was a huge success.

I sincerely sympathize with those who, due to network or other personal engagements, were not able to hook up with us. I pray that they make it next Saturday which will be on 1st May, 2021.

The reason why they should endeavor to join is because, I have chosen to use this medium to educate and encourage those present. This week's meeting was purely a training class. I discussed 2 important topic which I believe those who were in attendance, especially the newbies benefited from. The topics were as follows:

• The need to make quality comments that will foster engagements. I told them what to include in their comments. Anyone commenting on any post should be able to mention one or two things he or she read about in the post that interest him or her. Short comments are not good as it does not foster engagements. Comments like: nice post, wonderful food, I like your post, and so on does not constitute good comments.

I encouraged them to look out for posts made by us as a group and always encourage us via comments and votes for those who have the power to vote. With this in mind, we decided that a new whatsapp group be created where we will be dropping our post links so that we can see them quickly. That was a good idea. As soon as the meeting were over, I created the group I called PPG For Uyo/others
Only those in the cities I am cordinating are allowed to join us there and drop their links. But they must comment on other links from other members before dropping theirs.

I made provisions for refreshments during the meeting, they were to get the refreshments by themselves much that at the end of the meeting, I will send them 0.5 steem. well, i did send the steem because they all had their refreshments as planned. Below are the screenshots of those that were present.

On the whole, with the exception of me the host, a total of 9.5 steems were sent to 17 persons who were present during the meeting.

Future projects

Every household has a need and constraints and so is us. Therefore, below are some of the constraints that we have and of which we seek assistance.

• A permanent physical meetup center where we can provide assistance and trainings for our old and new users here in Uyo city.Steemit is booming and the news about it is irresistible. Therefore, those who join us will need a training location apart from the ones we do online. I am still making enquiries on this. However, we still await the completion of Aba city training center before we kick off in ernest. Having one will attract more users and mostly investors.

• Making Radio publicity.

• Printing Steemit T-shirts, steemalive T-shirts and our city T-shirts. I have not been able to achieve this but plans are under way. i already told someone to make the designs we will print on T-shirts. updates will come in my subsequent reports. We want to color our bodies with steemit

As at this moment, we have not been able to achieve anyone of the above plans because we have been waiting for the Aba Training center which the founder of @steemalive, @focusnow is arranging. We are happy to receive a news that the work there is completed. Hence, I will try my best to kick off with the activities outlined above.

All of the recruits or newly joined, are guided and i will keep doing that without let up even up till they find their ground in steemit. Though some are not active due to one engagements or the other but I will try my best to encourage them to be active again.

More users are yet to join us. Active users are in line to receiving supports from the community. To become an active user, the person must fulfill the following requirements:

1. You make at least 2 posts in a week, 1 of which is published in SteemAlive

2. You make a comment in the post made by your city coordinator every saturday

3. You drop links in General post Promotion

I am looking forward to receiving more users for better engagements. As a city cordinator, I will try my best to foster engagements among us.

CONCLUSION
