INTRODUCTION

Memories are the little things which helps in running lives smoothly. Memories are irreplaceable and are very dear to us.

CHILDHOOD

Growing up, i had a very loving family. I had four siblings with whom i used to play a lot. As a child all i just want to do is play football with hope that one day i will become a professional player. I was so addicted to it that i saved money to buy boot, football and the best of JAY JAY OKOCHA and CRISTIANO RONALDO just to learn their skills. I learned a lot and do practice those skills at ALL SAINT SECONDARY SCHOOL ABA since we live close to the field. I joined bright stars fc where my coach nicknamed me Ara ikpa and my team mates call me CHICHARITO or C.COCO
I love anything sports, football, table tennis, Ps2 name them..

I wasn't born with a silver spoon, the struggle of making money and helping the family whenever there is need has been there.
From selling cooked grandnut to selling purewater, from purewater to granding Engine. it was fun, especially getting little money at That early age. my friends always make fun of it at school especially my friend Chima. He will call me Engineer or Obi engine while i call him old peppar because he sells old news peppar.

When i recollect the days of my childhood, i feel highly delighted. it was a pleasant period that i spent in high spirit.

ADULTHOOD AND WORK

Adulthood comes with a lot of responsibilities
Adults are answerable for their life obligation and that includes employment, bills, caring for yourself and your family. Am sure many of us have those moments when we wish for the simplicity of childhood again, when we had no concerns for bills.

I left Aba in 2013 to Ebonyi and like i said before, i like sports. I can't go a day without playing football,table tennis, or ps2, i must do one of them. This time around i can't do it anymore like i used to because of everyday work.
Secondly you know what it means being a Nigerian, you must have connection before you go far. i joined my cousin in his phone business but things dont work out as planned, so i start learning sewing.
There is this saying that "in Nigeria you don't set alarm clock, your problem will wake you up" thats true. we couldn't wait to grow, then we did grow up, adulthood responsibilties are endless.

A BALANCED VIEW OF WORK

the simple life of making out time for recreation or spending time with family and friends are almost impossible now. things are very hard especially during this pandemic.
But some advice recorded in the bible has really helped me in this period.

• "Better is a handful of rest than a double of hard work striving after the wind." in as much as i want to make money at least to take care of my needs, i do make out time to rest because if i don't, my body will choose a day i don't like. Health is wealth.

• "There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and find enjoyment in his hardwork"
  At times i go out with friends to enjoy life. Its very important to life.

• I do make out time to visit my tiktok page
  I love seeing people happy. When you are happy automatically am happy. Sometimes i recieve remarks like...Oso you no get work o, but i do what makes me happy and people derives joy from it. Why will i stop because of one person?

• My love for sport will never die. I still make out time on sundays to watch the premier league, including the Nigerian league ( thats the picture i took with former Eyimba player) i play at times and most times i go out for morning workout. Nothing is more important than ones health.

CONCLUSION

To survive today, you must put your work ahead of everything else. that attitude has ruined many relationship. It has caused some to become so consumed with their job that they neglect their family and health.
"if there is much to life than handwork no one on his or her deathbed says; i wish i had spend more time at work."

I know it's not easy especially when you have bills to pay, but working long hours without proper rest or recreation can rob one of many joys in life and can lead to serious health problem money it self can't solve.
