Nnanna paraclator's Report
24 Mbubo street, off Ngwa road Aba.
23/10/2020
Am glad to be awake this morning, though i wake up really late because i kept wake for a long time, say till 2:40 am. Was trying to make a post last night and to attend to other comments i had on my post because i was running out of steem power but am glad @samuel20 helped.
I want to say that my night was peaceful and i enjoyed my sleep, only to be cut short by the noise from a mushroom church around my home and that can really be annoying.
As for my street it remain peaceful and people go about their businesses, just that a hand full of people are courageous enough to engage the road but to those ones nothing is happening
See photo below
I later came online and conduct the #steemAlive ritual which is LID post and then retire to my honourable bed to catch up with some carry over sleep.
At about 1:30 pm i woke up from my slumber to attend to my "break slow" because am certain that this one won't break fast.
After the supposed break slow i went to the living room to get updated with the current situation as the power Regulatory company EEDC (Enugu Electrical Distribution Company ) decided to surprise me with power supply, so who am i to say no to the offer , than to make judicious use of it. So i immediately tuned in to DW news to get the latest.
At about 4:50 pm i started feeling like am no longer in Nigeria, for crying out loud why would there be light from 9:20 am till 4:50pm in my area without interruption . At this point i started feeling unusual, staying at home became like a life threat so i decided to take a walk and know how the city has been after 3 days of mandatory stay at home, i went to Ehi Road by East to be precise and this is what av got .
From the photos i took i noticed that activities were going on withing the heart of the town as i witnessed keke (tricycle) operatives and some bus drivers going about their businesses though skeletally.
I wish to end the diary report here so far for fear i may dose off in an attempt to exhaust all i witnessed, but i have to leave it here till tomorrow.
Much respect to #steemalive
You have such a well detailed diary @paraclator26. Sometimes I begin to imagine, if the power holders can give light that long hours, why won't they be consistent in giving it at other times when it would be needed for productivity. Well, my case is different, our own light here was epileptic. It wasn't steady, or will I say, we weren't give at all because within the day, no one they gave lasted for up to 5minutes until in the evening when they finally gave it. So Ehi Road can be that free and lonely?. Hmm.

"am certain that this one won't break fast" are you sure it didn't? Hahahaaaaaah. I enjoy reading your diary especially with the caption of your town and how it looks like with the recent happenings. It's not an easy thing to stay at home for a day talk more of days, so people are bound to go out for one thing or the other. Quite a good day you had. Thanks for sharing

You had a great day @paraclator26. The issue of light has been a long-standing one and I wish that the type of service you experienced would be permanent. I spent at least 12 liters each week and it's not funny on my pocket. Meanwhile, you took really nice shots there of the streets. Your diary is rich, keep it up.
