Introduction
Hello diary, I'm about sleeping for tonight but I wish to share my activities for today with you.
Thanks to @amdasharif for this contest
Morning
I woke everyone up by 5:00 a.m for family devotion which was led by @nuella03 who was the preacher for the day.
After devotion, they were so relaxed and I was forced to ask why and they said it's public holiday.
Oppps! I forgot that October 19th was declared a public holiday by the Federal Government of Nigeria for a celebration by the muslim worshipers.
However there staying home didn't stop anyone from doing their respective chores and I also went to the farm behind the house to harvest some okra because I intend to sun dry them for dry season usage.
![]() | After slicing and spreading of the okra in the sun, I look my bath and left for the shop. |
---|
But on my way out, I got a call for my attention was needed at the E-Library so stopped over before passing to the shop | ![]() |
---|
Getting to the shop, I didn't wait any longer because there was a lot of work undone and thank God my friend's son who is always glued to me was asleep.
Afternoon
A lot of work was going on and we don't realize the baby was awake until he crawled to where we were working and he was crying but the moment he sighted me, he rejected breast milk from the mother and came straight to me.
![]() | I can't stop my work so I picked him up for peace reign and after a while, left me on his own. |
---|
Later in the afternoon, the weather changed and began to rain heavy. | ![]() |
---|
Immediately I picked baby Kosisochukwu and he eventually slept on my back

Evening
While returning home, I dropped by a bakery to get a loaf of fresh bread | ![]() |
---|
After leaving the bakery, I experienced what I have never knew existed before.
We met a group of muslim worshipers on the high way celebrating molud day.

---|
I was fascinated because I've never seen such or ever heard of crown celebrating on the street but my bike man assured me that this is not a new thing because it is done every year on molud day. Wow! Aren't I left behind?

---|
We finally bypassed them even in the huge traffic and I got home, ate took my bath and slept
Conclusion
Finally I wish to invite @stannleynnah, @akwashphil and @nigyls8 to join this contest
