Introduction

The world has become a fashion village today that has made Fashion Designers stepped on their heels in advancing their knowledge in the fashion business to move with the trend.
Today on my blog I will be talking about five (5) fashion designers who have made their customers looking good, attractive and smart.

Meet Mr Timothy and Mrs Angela Affi of TimAng Fashion Design Akwanga.

These are couple whom were tailors right from childhood before they met, got married and are into joint fashion business.
Their shop is located at Akwanga old market along Keffi-Abuja road Akwanga.

They are into fashion design for both male and female wears including children.
They were my fashion designers before I became one and I am proud to mention that I learned under them.
Their collections include:

• School uniforms etc.

• Weaving design: it is very important to some fabrics to enable them looks neat and beautiful.
• Ironing: this is a very important process every fashion designer must pass through.
  You need iron to stick warden and pad the fabrics.
  You need to iron some fabrics before cutting and after every sewing, a finished clothes must be ironed before giving to the customer to make it look neat and presentable.

They have over a hundred customers including schools who hire them for uniforms contract, women organization and individuals.

Some fashion designers disappoint because they lack integrity which makes them promise and fail. While some are just lazy.

Meet Attah Sunday Kuje of Sunny's collection is a graduate from The Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa. An only son of his mother who learnt fashion design from Mr. Peter of Hayin Gada Gudi-Akwanga.

Sunny's collections deals with male wears such as:

• Suits
• Senator design
• Agbada

• The process of making button holes is by sewing round the portion you wish to fix buttons in the opposite materials.
  Button holes are very important on male clothes because it's another form of design on its own.
  Giving it outmost attention so it can add beauty to the clothes.

• Starching: make clothes especially shada needs to be starched to maintain it's beauty.
  This is the process of adding a little quantity of starch into the water and spray on the materials before ironing.

Sunny's collections has close to 23 faithful customers who pays at the end of the work without stress .

Well, he believes some of his colleagues are known to disappoint because they lack self discipline and laziness has eaten into them.
He believes serious person will not play with his income.

Meet Miss Esther Attah Kuje

Esther is the immediate younger sister to Attah Sunday Kuje of Sunny's collections.
Esther specializes in female clothes only though she is practicing male fashion lately.

  This is important as it also add shape to a finished clothes.

• Stoning: this is the process of using hot iron to press some Beautification stones on fabrics to make clothes glows with beauty.

Esther has about 20 to 30 customers who trust her to deliver on time.

She thinks some of her colleagues don't keep to promise because they are not serious with their lives and are also lazy and irresponsible.

Meet Patience Akwash @patience90.

She sews at home because she doesn't have a shop for now and also goes to TimAng Fashion Design shop most times to do her work.
She specializes on female designs only for now which include

• Skirt and blouse
• Gowns
• Wrapper
• School uniforms

These are some of her collections.
