Hello steem world, today being Monday the 15th February, 2021.
I had a very hectic day, First of all I woke up around 4:30am in the morning because I have so many activities map out for the day,I am working on my project practicals today. So after waking up I said my morning prayers and do some other house chores .After which I took my bath, dress up was in a hurry so I couldn’t eat breakfast.
After dressing I boarded a cab from my house directly to the place I will take my sample. Meanwhile my project topic is
HELMINTH PARASITE BURDEN OF CANE-RAT (Thryonomys swinderianus) FROM RIVERS STATE, NIGERIA. This cane rat is commonly known as grasscutter in Nigeria.
I took my samples from 3 stations which are Omagwa(station 1), Omerelu(station (2), and Apani (station 3). These are communities located in lkwerri Local Government Area, Rivers state Nigeria .For today am just working on samples gotten from Omagwa. Interesting 🤔 I knw but let me not bore you with my project topic.
After boarding a cab to omagwa bush market it was already 6:15am. The sellers were not out yet so I had to wait for like 2hours after which I brought the whole gastrointestinal tract (GIT) of the cane-rat, I bought about 7 different GIT of cane-rat (grasscutter)both male and female.

After getting my samples I boarded a cab directly to choba uniport where i took a bus directly to my school Rivers state university. When I get to school it was already 10:15am so I took my samples directly to the lab.My supervisor was not around so I started working on it my self .I carried out this pratical using petri- dish filled with water ,I cut about 2cm each of different organs such as the stomach,large intestine,small intestine,duodenum,and osophagous.
I placed each in the Petri dish, used my pin to tase the organ in order to see those parasites affecting each of the organ. Parasite found was placed in vial bottle filled with 70% alcohol for preservation.

Before I could finish my work it was late ,I was not able to attend any classes and I was very tired it was already 4:30pm in the evening when I left school and boarded a bus going back home
When I got home it was already 6pm because of traffic,I was very exhausted,hungry and feeling sleepy my eyes were hardly opening I just bath,ate and went straight to bed.
