Introduction

Warm-hearted greetings to all my fellow Steemians in @steemalive. Here in my city we promote steem everyday individually in our respective corners but Fridays is always a day we collectively pull together to meet at a particular chosen venue to carry out the promote. For the past few weeks now we have maintained this particular venue because of the result of new recruits we are getting fro there. And this Friday most of our Steemians had so many engagement that necessitated unavoidable absence from our usually Roadshow.

Venue and Arrival time

In the morning I took my family to school and from there I visited our State Representative @charis20 and @fasacity who was preparing for the naming ceremony of their new born baby who will be 8days old that day. So when I got I met @desiredlady helping out in so many activities including preparing a zobo drink.

The road show was scheduled for 10am and @ziongater was there on time while I came around some minutes past 10am. Immediately I arrived the venue we hung out promotional banner and started engaging students who were coming out from the lectures on discussion about steemit. And they really gave us a listening ear.

While we were there we met a newbie who complained of having challenge in making post and we helped to guide him and lecture him more on the use of markdowns. Alongside were his friends so we also had time talking to them about steemit but they complained of not having their phones with them so we exchanged contact with them .

Our Roadshow was successful and fruitful because we ended up:
•Signing up one new member.
•Coaching and guiding him on how to use the markdowns in making post.
• created more awareness about steemit.
•Exchanged contact with prospects who were much interested in joining steemit

At about 2:30pm we rounded off our Roadshow for them day because we want to go and prepare for @charis20's and
@fasacity's child's name ceremony which was slated to hold at 3:00pm.

Conclusion

It was indeed a successful Roadshow despite the network challenges we were able to sign up a member, create awareness and make new contracts and new friends for steemit.
