Introduction

Hearty Cheers to my greatly beloved steemian friends in @steemalive. It is with a joyous heart that I wish to share with you how I celebrated my eldest brothers 40th Birthday anniversary.
Born into the family of Rev. Patrick. Okechukwu Udungwo Anyanwu of Umuebi Eziama, Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area of Imos state, Nigeria, on the 14th of December 1981 is an icon, a genius and a walking computer brain, Brother Onyedikachi, I'm For God, Michael Chimankpam Patrick Anyanwu.
Though distance tends to separate physical since you are far away there in the east while I am here in the North. However that won't be a deterrent to celebrate this your spectacular age.
So I wish to drop it here.

Happy 40th birthday commemoration DEAREST BIG BROTHER. May we all, your younger siblings live to witness age 40 also 🙏🙏🙏.

Indeed I have been searching and researching for stuff to eulogize you fortieth birthday anniversary. I couldn't lay my hands on any material.
When I pondered these thought came to my mind.
I am looking for someone to help me answer these questions.

1. Why Noah built the Ark in 40 days.

2. Why the rain/storm lasted for 40days.

3. Why the Israelites walked through the desert for 40 years.

4. Why the tower of barbel was built in 40 days.

5. Why Jesus Christ fasted for 40days.

6. Why Jesus Christ ascended to heaven after 40 days,

7. Why Moses had to spend 40 days with God, and fasting before he got the 10 Commandments Tablets

8. Why it took 40 days threat from Goliath against the Army of Israel before he was killed by David

9. Why David later had a total reign of 40 years over the nation of Israel

10. Why Elijah had to trekked, fasting for 40 days running away from Jezebel

40 days and 40 years in the Bible is HIGHLY SYMBOLIC

1. Why life begins at 40.

2. Why even Pass mark starts at 40.

3. Why they also say "A fool @ 40 is a fool forever"

What's so special about 40???

But when I resorted to the Holy Scriptures I just cogitated and coiled this little excerpts to sing your eulogy.

Now follow me on a ride as I take a little of your time to dwell on the Significance of the number 40 so that it will add to what you have already known the number to mean.
Let me start by quoting some old cliche about 40. Some say that

Life Begins at forty.

Others would go further to say that,

|A fool at forty is a fool for ever.

Now the question I am still struggling to find a tangible and reliable answer to is "Of all the numerical figures Why 40?"
Only the Most reliable, infallible, timeless and immutable Word of God can provide the surest answer to such a mind-blowing question.
The Bible tells of several significant events that took place during this specific span of time- 40
The number 40 as a matter of fact has a spiritual landmark.
During the antediluvian world, rain fell for 40 days and 40 nights (Gen 7:12)
During Abraham bargain with the heavenly messengers over the destruction of the corrupt cities of Sodom and Gommorrah, 40 was among the numbers He pleaded for (Gen.1829)
Moses left Egypt Refusing to be called Pharoah Daughter's son at the age of 40. Unlike brother Esau, who traded long-range good for immediate satisfaction and pleasure(Heb.12:16), Moses traded momentary pleasure and privilege for Future long-range good. He made this right and wise choice when he was come of age at 40years(Heb.11:24-27)
He spent 40years in the median wilderness undergoing training, after his Wilderness training He returned to Egypt and led Israelites for Forty years journey in the wilderness making his total years 120.
Suffice it to say here that most of God's dealing with Moses was centred or rather revolved on the number 40.
Moses was on Mount Sinai with God and did not eat for 40days and forty nights ( Ex. 24:18; Deut we. 9:18).
When Israelites murmured and cried for hunger, Moses cried unto God and God rained down manna and Quail they did eat for 40days(Ex. 16:35)
Israelite spies took 40days to explore the Promised Land of Cannan (Num.14:34; Num 13:25).
When Elijah fled from Jezebel, he travelled 40days and 40nights to mount Horeb (1kings 19:8).
The number 40 also appears in the prophecies of Ezekiel (Eze. 4:6; 29:11-13)
Jonah warned Nineveh for 40days(Jonah 3:4)
There were 40 days between Jesus' resurrection and Ascension (Acts 1:3).
Jesus spent 40 days and 40nights in the wilderness after his baptism(Matthew 4:2)
The list might go on and on.
