Introduction

Season's greetings to all Steemians especially my fellows in @steemalive Community. Its a joyous thing to witness this day. A day with dual Celebration- the Christmas fell on a Sabbath day. A day almost the entire Christendom celebrate the birth of Jesus all over the world.

Morning

It was a Saturday and my day of Worship so I needed to attend a church service. I woke up very early in the morning, had my morning prayers and started preparation for church service. After my breakfast I had a cold shower, as the morning wasn't that cold as it has usually been since the outset of the harmattan. Then I got dressed and headed for church on reaching the church we started morning segment of the service which is the Sabbath School which featured, special rendition of songs, memory recitations by the kids, Nature Object Lesson, Bible Study amongst others. During the Church At Study I was called upon by the lesson moderator to translate/interpret from Hausa to English. Since the whole church vis studying in one class because majority had travelled home so the church is a bit scanty and it was a mixture of Hausa speaking and non-Hausa speaking congregants. So he was speaking in Hausa ana I was translating to English.
The lesson was the 13the lesson and as well the last for the 4th quarter. All through this quarter we have studied from the Bible book of Deuteronomy and this last lesson was captioned:

The Resurrection Of Moses.

After the lesson study the December babies (adult and children Inclusive) made a presentation. The the morning segment came to a close with a prayer session

Afternoon

Immediately after the Sabbath School segment then there was announcements.
The second segment of the service which is commonly known as Divine Service commenced around 11:00am and lasted till noon featuring Singspirations (both the congregational hymn and singing groups, the Adventist Women Ministries And the choir), Sermonette and prayers session and then benediction

Seeking first the kingdom of God.

Called on Christmas-celebrating Christians and non-Christmas Celebrating Christians, Muslims and other people of religions to embrace the message that comes with the Christmas season which is a message of salvation and hope for lost mankind.

The second segment of the church service closed at about 1:30pm. After the church I greeted with some members and some of my Sabbath School students in the youth class whom it has taken a very long while we haven't met because they have been away to school and we took some snapshots as they now big guys. I saw almost all them holding big and expensive phones in their hands and it's just for taking selfie, WhatsApp Facebook that's all. So I seized a little opportunity to hint them about steemit and the Promised to come around for more details because they were rushing to somewhere.

On my way home I went to @charis20's house to make inquiries on some issues bothering me on steemit and she helped to put me through despite being under the weather and is on a kind of bed rest. I commend and appreciate her Untiring effort whenever I approach her with my steemit challenge.

Evening

Getting home I was very famished, so I went straight to the refrigerator to help myself with some fruit there first before going for any other food. I fetched some grasshopper I had bought the previous day and took it alongsidsome water melon and pineapple and then slept for a very long time. Waking up I went to kitchen and prepared stew, Egusi soup and rice. On finishing, I received a call from @debaron to come and attend to the mother in-law who was was feeling too fine and from there I went and attended to other of my clients. When I was done I returned home, had my shower, had some chats with fellow Steemians on our various WhatsApp platforms and retired to bed.

Conclusion

Saturday is not usually a day much work as it is my day of worship except life saving cases arise, so I had enough time rest and sleep. I am happy I attended church service to worship my Creator and the sole Creator of heaven and earth
