With a very heavy heart and tearful eyes I greet you all my fellow Steemians in @steemalive community. My heart is filled with sorrows and pain as I write to you at this momentuos time on the ugly and disheartening experience I had on Saturday 13 November 2021 which is the theft of my motorbike.

Indeed, days are filled with sorrows and care, hearts are lonely and drear. There are some days you cry and there can't be anyone close to hear your cyr nor wipe your tears. There are days you shout and clamour for help but there can not be any one near to help you out. Certain events and incidents in life can make your day to suddenly turn into night.

Brief History of my Bike

It is my Haojue Motorcycle commonly called Rubber Rubber.
This bike was bought at lafia the Nasarawa state capital on the 7th of October 2019 exactly 11months after our wedding December 9th 2018. And October 7th this year is exactly two years I bought the bike.

The Familial Importance of the Bike

This bike has serves us as family in different categories and at diverse capacities. It has been a means of mobility to most of our journeys and travels as a Family. It has eased us of so many stresses that come with boarding a commercial cab or cyclist as it help us to go to any where at our own convenience. It has been my leg to work, it has served as my wife's leg to work, and my kids leg to school.

The Steemit Promotional importance of the Bike

Apart from serving us a great purpose in the family running arounds, it has also served me a great deal in my steemit journey. It has been My leg to steemalive promotional Roadshow, my leg to other Promotionall activities carried out in steemit both individually and as a team here in Nasarawa city. @patience90 will always called it steemit bike because I usually carry our state Representative @charis20 on it whenever we are going on Roadshow especially at a very distant venue.

Accident with the bike

Recently, precisely three weeks ago I was involved in a road accident with the bike in which some major parts like the front wheel, front shock absorber, headlight, front traficators, the front mudguards were all damaged. And I sustained some internal pains on my left leg.

I spent more than 100steem to fix the bike and bring it back to life little did I know that the days of the bike is numbered and I was repairing for the unknown thief-owner.

I went for last Friday Roadshow with it not knowing that it was the last Roadshow I will use it for.

I came for @charis20's baby naming ceremony and the baby Charis was busy cruzing on it as he is always fond of the bike whenever I come around and he has access to it not knowing it was the last time he will sit on the bike.

On this fateful, and black day in the middle of the day at about 1:30pm after we returned from church service, we went from there to visit a sick mother who sustained a hot oil burnt .
Coming out from the house we couldn't find the motorcycle again. The unknown thief made away with the bike, my Bible, my Bible study guide, my steemit jotter and my Tecno camon-12pro charger, my wife's bible,her Bible study guide,her phone, our babies clothes and other items

My Reaction After the Bike was Confirmed missing/stolen

It was like a dreamy moment to me. I couldn't just imagine or believe that my bike could be missing in a twinkling of an eye in just a space of 10-15minutes time in such an open and busy street at the compound of Retired Honourable Justice John Viko in that broad day light. I started searching every where both uncompleted buildings and combing every bush around the place but couldn't find the bike.
I now went straight ahead to the nearest policy station and reported the incidents all they could do is take my statement asked me to come home and get the photocopy of particulars of the motorcycle so that they can attach it to my statement and that's all. Alas! What a country we are in!

CONCLUSION

I thank God that the loss of my motorbike is not the loss of life and as long as there is life there is greater hope because the best is yet to come. Some days are like that but in everything that may befall or betide me Let the name of God be praised. It hasn't been easy and won't be easy coping without the bike after being mobile for a period of two years plus. All I could afford to say is that let the perfect will of God be done concerning this bike. Come what may, I will never stop to or relent from promoting steem and preaching the good news about steemit
I am happy I was able to power up despite what happened. So I far I have been able to power up more than 160 steems within a period of 22days (3weeks) which implies that I do power up on weekly basis now. Within this period my steem power has grown from 50 to 237steems and still counting. Thanks God for the #club5050 initiate. It is my anticipation to accelerate to #club75 and #club100 soonest.
