INTRODUCTION

Greetings steemians, it's with great joy I bring to you the first report as Abuja coordinator, I was announced as Abuja coordinator yesterday, however I have been doing some work in the city before the announcement. I'm glad the @steemalive team trust me for this role. I'm grateful, however I was the coordinator for Nasarawa but I recently moved to Abuja city and @charis20 is taking over Nasarawa city, I'm thankful I mentor her well.
I present to you my weekly report as a city coordinator in Abuja city

RECRUITMENT AND STATUS OF EVENT IN THE CITY

From the look of things Abuja city have been dormant for a long time and it's like me starting all over again. I tried reaching out to those I saw active from @iamlynxie the former Abuja city coordinator last report and from the report I was able the get four steemians that are active, written below is their username:

Thes four people are still active on steemit and I tried to trace their contact on our various group chats so I can add them to the a group chat I created for Abuja steemians.

I was able to get to @judeet10 on whatsapp and @ckole on telegram but have not gotten a reply from him yet.

I was able to recruit a bookshop Man in my church last week, he saw me wearing steem T-shirt and got interested in the platform.

MY PLANS

I paid for a flyer to be designed so as for me to print it and use it for Steem promotion in my locality. it's been a busy week for me I have not been able to print but I will do that as soon as I can.

This city is a new city compare to where I was coming from and it will need a new strategy but I plan to print some flyers, car stickers and also placing banners in some strategic place in the city.

CONCLUSION

it's been a great week and I'm thankful for this great opportunity to promote steem in this city. I believe with time the city will grow and be better than it used to be.
