Tour of Government Institutions in My City - Kubwa.

Introduction

Greetings steemians and happy last day of the month! It's just few minutes before the month ends and we begin a new one. I'm so excited about next month because its my birth month and Nigeria independent month. I wish you all a great and productive new month ahead. This is my entry post to @steemalive contest about government institutions tour and I will be taking you guys on a tour to four government institutions in my city.

The four government institutions are listed below:

• maitaima market , Kubwa
• general hospital, kubwa
• railway station, kubwa
• high court, kubwa

Maitiama Market

A market is place where buying and selling take place. Maitaima market popularly known as village market is the main market in my city, though there are many other markets but village market is the most popular and known in the city because things are relatively cheap in the market and it's a big market that you can get whatever you want. The village market has been in existence for a long time but was recently renovated to a modern market about three years ago.

_Location

Village market is mostly visited by buyers and sellers, also there are some spaces in the market for store keeping. There are different sectors in the market. Some for meats, some for foods stuff, clothes and the likes. This make it easy to find whatever you are looking for.

General hospital

Hospital is a place where the sick people go to get treatment. General hospital is one of such and it's the most frequently used hospital in my city because of its qualified doctors and staff generally. In my country it's a common notion it that public hospitals have the best doctors and their fees are subside so that everyone can afford it. General hospital is used by the rich and poor because of its capable hands.

_Location

There are different departments in the hospital and I was able to get the image of some not all, personally I don't like going to the hospital as I don't like the smell and I always get emotional seeing people lying helpless. So I took a tour outside the building.

Railway Station

This is one tour that took me by surprise, I'm actually surprised to see this train station, it's been a great improvement from what I used to know as train station. Train station is where passengers board train to their location and kubwa train station have just one route, it's from Abuja to Kaduna.

_Location

I made some enquiries about the train and I was told there are two sections VIP and regular in the train, so you paid for the one you want. I couldnt take a tour of the train because there was non on ground and only those with ticket are allowed to get close to the rail. Kubwa train station is fairly new, as its started it's operation about two years ago and people even prefer to take train than bus because of insecurity and traffic. People travlleing from Abuja to Kaduna and vice versa ate those that board the train.

I'm grateful for this contest that made me know more about the railway station and I can't wait to go on a train ride.

High Court

My tour to the hight was actually a short one because I was not allowed to take pictures or go inside. I guess it's for security reasons.

_Location

I wasn't able to get more information about the hight court because the security men were quite aggressive but a court is a place where the fate of any accused person is determined. So most people that are mostly found in the court are lawyers, police men and criminals. There are three types of courts in the federal level in Nigeria which includes:Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and Federal High Court and the federal hight court is the least of them.

Conclusion

I didnt only tour but I also learnt one of two things especially in the railway station, adventure is learning and I'm grateful for the opportunity to explore.
