STEEMIT PROMOTION : ROAD SHOW HIT BENUE STATE MONDAY 20th SEPT, 2021. BY @peterabagi.

INTRODUCTION

So far so good I have been able to promote and present STEEMIT to individuals in Benue state What3words and I must say my boldness and courage has really increased to do more on promotion.

I took the promotion to another level when I went to the street on Monday and started talking to prospect passing on the street.

This is a street behind Makurdi modern market, it is one of the most busy streets in this area as it is close to the market. What3words

WHAT I OBSERVED

One basic thing in this promotion is that all the people I spoke to had never heard about Steemit, and as a matter of fact some could not pronounce the word "STEEMIT " and some people confused the word with "STEAM" which is not the same thing. Some even thought it was "STREAMIT" I think the TIV man accent is really showing on how he pronounces words in English Language after all English is not their mother tongue. Llkk

After my talk with some of this passer by some older people didn't take a selfie with me because of their ideology but the young folks I met were happy to hear about steemit platform and gladly took selfies with me as you could see their expression in the pictures.

PRESENTING STEEMIT TO GOODNESS

This is goodness a sales girl and a makeup artist who sales for her Monday. I saw her going to work and I called her and presented steemit to her. I told her my experience and testimonies about Steemit and that of other people on steemit. I also told her about how I have successfully registered 4 corp members in Aba on this platform before coming to Benue.

I told her with steemit she can become a professional writer as steemit is ready to support and build her writing career and reward her for posting and voting on steemit.

Goodness like many prospect gave me her whatapp contact which I am currently using to talk to her and help her with her achievement post 1.

PRESENTING STEEMIT TO HAPPINESS

Happiness here was going to buy card (airtime) in a shop by the road side then I called her and presented steemit t her and her expression was really funny as she was smiling.

When I was done talking I asked her what was making her smile she said she hope we will not ask her to start bringing people before she can withdraw her steem and I said steemit is not networking nor is it a bozle scheme. Hence you are not under a rule to start bringing people to steemit before you withdraw.

This question was the same question most people have been asking so far since I joined the Steemit Promoters club and started promoting steemit. But I also have consistent cleared the air on that question. I collected her Facebook username and whatapp contact so I can keep following up and help her to register and be active.
One good thing is she also collected my phone number and thanked me For stopping her and telling her about Steemit.

PRESENTING STEEMIT TO SILAS AND FANEN.

I called Silas when he was passing me to go to his tailoring shop as he is a fashion design, thank God he came and I spoke to him about Steemit I even sent the pictures of the flyers printed by my mentor @focusnow which was given to me by my Cordinator @samuel20.

He understood perfectly however he didn't have a phone as the one he was using was his friends phone but he told me he was expecting a phone soon, he told me that he will be the one to call me so that I will show him how to register.

Fenen on the other to me to talk for just few minutes that he was sent to the market that he was in a hurry but I am sure he got my message clearly as I made sure I did justice while doing my presentation to him.

MY NEXT MOVE ON STEEMIT PROMOTION

• My next move is to make sure I mentor and guild all the folks I have collected their contact on steemit through a WhatsApp group I created.

• I also intend to continue online promotion for Benue pending when I will travel to Benue again maybe December or February.

• Take steemit promotion with corpers in Aba to the next level so I can move to other local government.

With the support from @steemalive @focusnow my boss I am sure I can bring steemit to the knowledge of the NYSC ABIA STATE CORDINATOR AND ALL LOCAL GOVERNMENT INSPECTORS.
