Meet Vikky

We get to meet different people daily, some of which we may get close to or not. Their character, qualities or talents may endear us to them or the other way round. I've got someone I'll like y'all to meet, she's.............

I'll like y'all to meet Victoria Sunday(Vikky), she's brown skinned, slender, of average height with bright eyes. I and Esther attended the same secondary school and we ended up being in the same class. She's not just my classmate but my gist partner and BBC.

Victoria is a native of Ibesikpo asutan in Akwa Ibom state but she resides at mbiabong etoi, another clan close to Ifa. She's an akwa ibomite and can defend herself very well using her mother-tongue.

Vikky is just 19, which means she's still very young hence she's not married. But not to worry, we go soon drink palm wine, she's not always at peace when I visit because the marriage topic is what I usually bring up🤣🤣

Since she isn't married, there's no child not to talk of children but I know she'll get children in the next 3-4 years and I'll be flogging them if they misbehave.

I learnt that I and Vikky were admitted into high school the same time in Jss1 but we couldn't get to meet each other because we were in different sections. As time went by, we were made to choose courses( art/humanity, science, commercial).

I went for art as my career revolved round art, coincidentally Vikky choosed art as well and we were grouped together into the same class and department. Vikky doesn't talk much but as an extrovert that I am, I walked up to her and within seconds we bonded. That was 4 years ago at ss1 and we're still friends until now.

Vikky is a staunch Christian, she's a member of the Apostolic church and belongs to the choir group known for singing all forms of christian songs and its lyrics.

Vikky attends church regularly and is not just a Sunday member, I love the fact that she's spiritually conscious. She willingly goes to help out with her church project and aids maintain it.

Vikky is a very calm and quiet being, she lives a peaceful life that is trouble free unlike me. Vikky is considerate, has high moral standards and I respect her for that.

It's normal to loose contact with classmates after school but I and Vikky have stuck together and my reasons for bonding with Vikky for so long could be found below:

• Vikky is calm and she's a peace maker, she doesn't hold grudges

• Vikky is godly and upholds high moral standards which is rare amongst our youths

• Vikky is committed to whatever she does, she has this spirit of perseverance

• Vikky is always willing to make sacrifices to help others

I feel satisfied introducing to you a classmate, school mate, friend and more. I pray and hope I meet her likes in future, I can't cherish her less. People we meet in our daily endeavours may turn out to be our addiction hence we should be sure to put on a nice character, it speaks a lot about us.
