Hello everyone how are you all doing today? I am sure you guys are all in good condition, it's your girl @princesshope and I am very happy to be a part of this wonderful contest where I will be talking about my city Lagos State which is a wonderful city everyone will love to stay.
THINGS ABOUT MY CITY LAGOS STATE
Lagos State is the largest city in Nigeria and also the largest in Africa, Lagos State is also known as the city of Excellence which was extabilsh in May 1967 and Ikeja was picked as it's capital.
Lagos State consist of 20 local government and my local government which is Ojo local happens to be one of them.
Lagos State is a very beautiful city with so many beautiful places where one can go for during holidays and also for events. Lagos State as a very beautiful city is always full of traffic but that has become a normal way of life to everyone living here in Lagos State.
TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM IN LAGOS STATE
Transportation system in Lagos State is very easy because there are so many means of transportation I can use when ever one wants to go out, one of this means is by bus.
BUS
Buses are you most in expressways due to the population of people in Lagos State, there are so many people using bus as a means of transportation that why there are so many buses on the highway.
In some areas of Lagos State bike are also used in the express because of traffic in some areas like Mile2, Iyanoba,Apapa e.t.c
The nature of the bad roads has force many people to use bike and it's usually not safe for people because of accident which leads to lose of life.
In my area here in Ojo the most common means of transportation is tricycle and bike
TRICYCLE
Tricycle is used as a means of transportation here in Ojo since it's not an expressway and it's very comfortable to use when going out especially when it's raining season.
BIKE
Bike are also used here in Ojo but some people don't like using it because most of the bike drivers are Aboki and don't really know how to drive very well so most people like using tricycle and bus when going out except those that in a hest.
WHO MANAGES THEM AND HOW ARE THEY MAINTAINED
All the transportation system in Lagos State has an association and before one will be allowed to be a transporter that person must be registered in that association, before you register you must pay some amount of money before you can be registered and after the registration they normally pay some level in every week to the association they belong too.
As for the management the owners of the buses, tricycle or bike are responsible for the management so as to make sure do damages will happen to there property because they will be responsible for the damages that will occur.
HOW PREVALENT ACCIDENT OCCURS, IF ANY, GRADE THEM IN FATAL, MODERATE AND MINOR CATEGORY AND HOW VICTIMS ARE TAKEN CARE OF
Here in Lagos State I have always been hearing of fatal accident and it always happens in the expressway but I have not withness it with my eyes I only see and hear about them online so I don't know how the victim are taken care of after the accidents.
I'm my area here in Ojo I have withness some accident but they are not really serious but in some cases of injuries the victim are always taken to hospital that are close to us here.
Conclusion
I am happy I was able to say some things about my city Lagos State and I hope you can come and withness things with your eyes one of this days.
Thank you.

Hello @princesshope, your narrative about your city Lagos State is true especially in the area of traffic congestion along some major roads, besides, most of the roads in Lagos State are in a state of total disrepair and need maintenance. Thanks for sharing.
