I won't say that my dad is the best or the best person I have ever seen. I won't say he is my best friend neither I would say he is the best. One sentence I have for him and is he is my world... Whatever I am now, I couldn't be able to become that individual without him, my entire life credit goes to him.
My dad is now 60+ and became old but he never thinks himself old. He is still strong and bold and takes care of his health as well. He is now a retired government officer and gave his 40 years of government work. He was a high ranked government officer who has done a lot for the environment and wildlife saving. His achievement level I can't explain because he is the only one who can explain what he has done for his country.
He is from Bangladesh, from a small village. He started his education life from the village, finished his college life in a suburban area, and then later he finished his graduation from the University of Dhaka, Soil Science. My grandfather was a police officer though I haven't seen him and my grandma was a housewife. My dad has 5 siblings and my dad is the elder son of the family. After completing his graduation, he did BSC ( Government job exam) and became qualified for the ministry of Forest and environment. Then his carrier life started and never looked back. He later took his higher degree from Peshwar, Pakistan, and came back to his native land Bangladesh...
My dad fulfilled all the responsibilities for his family as well as for my family too. He helped to educate his brothers and bore all the education expenses alone after my grandfather's death.
Later, he married my mom and after 2 years of marriage, I came into the family as an elder girl. Because of his job, he has to stay away from home all the time and used to come home on weekends mostly and used to stay with us for two days. And then he used to went back to his workplace... We are two sisters and I am the elder and my younger one is 6 years younger than me.
I was never close to my dad in fact my sister was so close to my dad and used to say dad's princess. I was the dearest of my mom... After my mom's death, everything changed and I started feeling more distant from my dad. But my dad never left me alone, he is not a usual dad, he never shows his love for me. He is a short temper and different than other dads. He never said he loves me but his activity always shows how much he loves me...
He sacrificed a lot for us, in fact, he saved all of his salary for our happiness. He bought the car for us so that we don't need to ride public transports but he used to use public transport for travel. There was a certain time of our life when our entire family broke in fact after our mom's death, my entire family broke apart. But he never broke down or never cried in front of us in fact he dedicated his entire life to raising us by giving both mom and dad's love... He let us fulfilling our dreams and never let us alone.
he never shows his affection for us directly but his activities his concern always show how much he cares about us. Every day he calls me more than 3 times and it's his routine...If I somehow forget to call him, he becomes anxious and starts taking stress. I was the one who used to stay away from him and now I am the one with whom he shares all the family matter. Whatever I am today is because of him, without his support I would have never done anything for myself. He gave me freedom and gave me the independence of life...
My dad is very intelligent and always saves money and he taught me that too. He taught me to understand the real meaning of life without giving me any pain. When I was in depression, he was the one who used to believe in me and helped me to recover...
My dad is a very hardworking man and still does all the works for us, he is everything for us and we can't think of a single moment without him. Sometimes he says to me, grow up, you are still immature... Sometimes he treats me like a kid and says you are still my kid...
My dad loves traveling and photography, so wherever he goes, he carries his camera and starts taking pictures. Sometimes his this craziness puts us in a false position but we both sisters support his hobby and passion.
This is my dad, a person who did everything for his family, who sacrificed his own happiness because of his children and gave them both mom and dad's love...
