Application for the position of a country representative for Nigeria

Introduction

Hello to everyone.I am Samuel with username @samuel20 who has been active on Steemit since July 2020.I am writing with respect to the announcement post for the position of a country representative in my country,Nigeria.

It is important to note the importance of country reps cannot be emphasized given the fact that they help to mentor/groom newbies,support old and new members, organise contests and encourage members to remain active on Steemit.

Checking the Criteria

Looking at the criteria listed.I have keyed into all that already.

•I have been active on Steemit since the ending of July,2020. Furthermore,I have a steempower of 6,695 SP although I delegated 1000 SP to two Nigerian communities @steemalive and @steemkids inorder to help them continue with the good work they have been doing.

•In terms of reputation,I have a reputation of 70 and have been living in Nigeria over the past ten years and till now.The main language in Nigeria is the English language of which I am very fluent and efficient in the use of spoken and written English.Pidgin English is also common here,I can communicate effectively using it too.

•In terms of my voting pattern and CSI I have been upvoting different steemians including Nigerians too.I am not into self-voting or vote buying.I have posted and has continued to post in a variety of communities across the Steemit platform.Commenting is also another area that I have not found wanting and I have been in the list top 10 most engaging steemians across board.

Why I think I would make a good country representative

Personal,I believed that it is best to lead my example.

I have always supported all the Steemit rules and projects such as the club project where i have actively been participating in club75 for a long period of time.Almost all my earnings have been powered up.

I have been very active in the new project which is the Steemit engagement challenge where I have in the list of top 10 most engaging steemians .

I have been a moderator in steemalive community and has been actively involved in checking plagiarism,club status,use of bid-bot and steemexclusive nature of posts in the community before and during the challenge and so I understand what it to point out a quality post.

In terms of promoting steemit,it is clear that I was actively involved in the steem road show-where we go to the streets and busy locations to promote steemit and sign up newbies.Under the steemalive community awareness programs,I have always represented the community on radio stations to promote steemit to the public on several occasions.Promotion link.

Conclusion

In summary,given my experience and longevity on steemit, i believe that been appointed as a country rep would give me more opportunities to promote steemit, support steemians in my country(Nigeria),mentor and guide newbies,organize contests and also encourage members to maintain atleast club5050,stay away from plagiarism and vote buying.
